Don't stress, a man's allowed to have some toys, and in the grand scheme of things when buying something as expensive as a house does a few thousand quid tied up in a motorbike really make that much difference??

With so many cars on PCP deals with guaranteed future values, i wonder if we have a timebomb waiting to happen... Imagine a situation where the car is worthless because it's a diesel but the dealer sold it on PCP and so has to honour the GFV.

Its mostly going to hit Londoners when the mayor introduces the new diesel tax. So unless you travel into London I wouldn't worry too much. With the majority of cars on the road being diesel they UK.gov will have to be very careful how they handle the rest of the country of they want to avoid civil war!!

I get a plastic milk bottle, cut a section out of one side from top to bottom, then put the chain in the cutout. So imagine the chain going down the neck of the bottle and coming out the bottom of the bottle... all the overspray then goes into the bottle.. use it a few times them just chuck it away.

I have a long list of ways the UK.gov has stitched me up in the last few budgets. They basically don't want anyone to earn money or invest for their future or have nice things. Hate the UK government, doesn't matter who's in power they're all as currupt as each other.

The rest of Europe isnt getting stitched up by their own governments for driving diesels... When our diesel cars become worthless i think we should all drive them into the low emissions zone and set them on fire!

Lots of talk about diesels being too dirty for the roads and higher taxes for diesel vehicles. My road tax is already stupidly high for my diesel car but when will it stop?? The government used to encourage diesel vehicles and that's why most cars sold in the UK are diesel.. now they want to tax them out of existence.... How can that be fair?? And where will it stop? Once all the diesels are off the road will they then attack petrol cars?? What's everyone's thoughts??

More research needed i reckon, (and a job to finance it!) but converting a panel van looks a great option if i can convince the missus.

Race vans on ebay look very cool, but they look huge and i wouldnt ever get the use out of it to justify the expense. I was hoping i could have a camper van that i could roll a bike into the back, maybe remove some stuff whilst its not a camper van to make room for the bike, and put stuff back in when its being used as a camper. Custom build would be awesome, i'd love to have a go at a custom camper build.. Whats the rules on seats in the back? with kids i'd need to have them strapped in, but i see load of campers with just soft seating in the back with no seat belts... are people allowed to travel in the back of those? (im sure i used to when i was a kid in our family camper van)

I've been thinking of getting a van for a while that's capable of moving bikes/junk about.. tonight the other half said "it would be good to have a camper van". So here's my chance... But i know nothing about camper vans and she's not going to be happy with a panel van with an old mattress in the back like i was planning... So what's my options?? Needs to be able to transport two adults and two kids when in camping mode, or me plus bike(s) in bike van mode..

Can you put it up where the headlamps should be? Can you get the plumbing up there?

But would you want to? If it's broken up inside, you'd be better off doing a rebuild to make sure you got all the bits out..
