Constantly Blowing Fuse on Suzuki Intruder 125 2000
RideWithStyles replied to Rockie's topic in Pitstop
Id agree Definitely a short going on, as a general rule the starter motor and fuse is pretty much has the big/ main draw pretty much direct from the battery. Other than the starter, relay of something very close to it your leads to the cause is pretty short. -
Just thinking about it awhile ago….i know don’t hate what ticks. then I saw this, that pretty much summed up the shite state of music industry has progressed into, so now you’ll know what I’m thinking. just to make it known I do agree with a lot he says, I’ll say a lot of artists/bands and made it very obvious of their positions and how to address the problem, concentrate on a absolute banging single, push it with channels and media without the record label, really push live shows and merch to make a living. recent band that isn’t American, British but German band would be electric callboy, let alone another ones to make a point. im not sure other than legal fook heads and weak minded record label directors/ceos would have gained much but certainly hung themselves in the process just after they threw everyone else under the bus with the actions. Anyway back to rose tinted glasses, complete Albums i absolutely loved back in the day as I’m not as old as some here so cut some slack. when they counted for tape and cds (I wasnt old enough for concerts nor roughing explicit ruling) so jive bunny was skimming the limits let alone other “mainstream” before the entertain the alternative motion. real world were guns and roses, nine inch nails, pantera, terrorvision, linkin park, static x. oh I’m not sure will smith would have quite counted for a whole album he flashes in the vid but the recordings were quite off and inconsistent off memory. sometimes a poor recording can completely turn a great album to a poor listening experience, Same could be said for live experiences with arenas that the crew/equipment hasn’t done much harmonious. one where I knew two bands, on the same arena, same day. the filler absolutely nailed the scene live with the setup and even though the recording album could be viewed was weaker, the live show made it really come to life. yet the main showing band seems to throw fat wabblers, that for me made it hard work to enjoy. two off memory is within temptation and epica last albums, great songs and live are brilliant but the recording was so quiet, dead, dull and lifeless…it was like they recorded in dead space, everything was dipped in thick cement with 20tog duvet covers over them, three sections of memory foam mattress on all flat surfaces, and all the dials on the console turned down to the point of breaking with the microphones in the next room. if you wasn’t a fan (wife is a real fan) and know what they were actually like you’d pass them off within a 30secs of the first song as quite shit…I quite like them but it made it difficult to question why did they release it in that state? Being that bad of recording they might well of just all smoked dope, sucked helium and played the Major Morgan on set.

Id rather take my own destiny in my own hands than a barely skilled minimum hour paid nobber and a overpaid company with questionable moral. To me, if it was between plugging and running slower to home and to repair the tyre or wait 6+hrs for recovery only to be told they don’t have the vehicle to take your bike home only for another wait for another one… id take trundling at 30-40 with a plugged tyre while sticking to the gutter side of the road anytime.

I was at my mechanics place the other day. Sure it was a Ducati engined (vtwin) Bimoto- rare, used but cost to keep it running was not an issue, worth a good few bob but still gorgeous! think it had 40k miles or more on it or so yes it looked less garage hore but if I had deposable income I’d have bought it there and then to enjoy it as it was intended.

I agree Hairsy but if you ignored the content filling show view, defend your right of the HW with i know more than the other driver….the silver should have being paying attention, seen in and not been surprised by it. So yes it would be great to educate the basic clueless driver (if you wish to class then as so) but really it only serves those who actually have an interest, which really is an incredibly small number of people on a scale of a few hundred(?)/narrow of interested people that probably already knew so does it actually serve a purpose other than to rub the ego of the content channel?

All I show is even a fair statistical/judgement. I do share your view on my brother being the anomaly! . i mean it’s almost final destination level of possible of how or why do you almost take yours fingers off poking around the front of a Peugeot rally’s rad while parked by a crash barrier at oulton park after it almost spit you into the barrier for some unknown reason …..if life ain’t telling you something.

Metal Shavings in Engine Oil - Honda PCX 2021 125cc
RideWithStyles replied to krm712's topic in Motorbike Chat
So what would would be happening is the air is being sucked in from underneath (the drain plug) and created the air bubbles. now this is just me and OCD but id change the oil just to be safe….its only a litre. The whirling will be from the cvt trans and gearbox (well the belt), its normal. -
I was wondering too. Poke at the reef to make sure an el or shark aint hiding in a crevice?

Definitely won’t burn yourself on them but certainly smell, not in a pleasant way. you can switch them off but I think RSPCA will have an interesting reply. Yep ive only broke bones on horses and never a bike. now for my brothers perspective, he only got bitten and almost kicked by a horse but definitely got properly messed up twice (ICW and major surgery) by a two motorcycles and a few times by peddle bikes.…

Well yes and no. CE is great to know what standards it meets, assuming the standards these are appropriate and can be applied to a real life implementation. well they are gauge as two out of four so it’s Near enough . I agree the std is still well behind the time and it needs a proper revision, that isn’t up to the manufacturer to set it but at the moment it is.. best boots we’ve had are Sidi, the spada ones aint bad for the money. horses are dangerous and do have brakes, its just only when it suits them .

Without looking at the vid, it should be FING IMMACULATE throughout and all parts and mint fit for use throughout, it not your opening yourself for fails. Id go with what the others say first. the other part is does the noise come on at a certain rpm or gear? Does the noise happen to the timing of the engine and speeds or slows down with the engine under load? Stuff like that? maybe an output shaft bearing worn out? Hell even a crush drive or a kinked chain/side plate can make that noise as it’s going around the small sprocket…. the only proper way to see if the bottom end has failed is to strip it. The quicker but yet fallible way is to drop the oil and inspect, take off the oil filter and cut it up to see if glitter or bits are in it.

Good Morning Good Night and General Chat.

No vis or hat or bracing. While looking at his phone on the first and second step - . well at least it looks new and the side rails are down and the jobs getting done so better than the UK. . looking like a laugh at the minute? -
The jacket for underneath airbags have been designed to have burst strength seams and excess material folded to allow space for the airbag to expand so the air bag isn’t restricted by the jacket. If not then there is three possible out comes for failure, the bladders pop, the bladders fail to expand properly or damages yourself… if you don’t buy a designed with one you have to go up a size or so but as people will know they aint all perfect to your biometrics, but if its boarder line now(tight neck, chest, arms etc) and you decide to put an extra layer or a heated vest underneath (most have edges for the connectors) you risk something going wrong.

Bike purchase is turning into a long running saga.
RideWithStyles replied to Throttled's topic in Motorbike Chat
I know it’s annoying but Well they dont just do thT for wheels as everything has to be accounted for. any claim against the transport company has to go to them then the paper work has to line up for what and why they order another wheel or what else they damage from the manufacturer plus post, vat and labour cost….it adds up. Ask them if you can keep the damaged wheel and tyre?, just in case you properly damage one and have a free spare or if the car has the well space under the floor cover, you have full spare ready. -
Realistically speaking going by a 1000 doorerling does more stress than a 125 under load. our 125 was 6years old with 4k, my gsf was 16yrs old and only 4k when we bought them.

The real question most people ask was it a french or Italian car? . must of admit it was right up there with a car we randomly check over as it parked up in a residential area as they took up a space to spend too much time and money at a local questionable restaurant/takeaway near us rather than make it road legal…it fooks off all the locals…

At that age of bike any normal bike for a minor off or claim will pretty much scrap the bike off from their prospective, were as my mechanic would buy it and bring it back to sellable sale, depending on the bikes requirement and price he could get it..

Well sorry to say it again MotoGP are self inflicted arse holes…that not just my opinion but dealers working with them too. they couldn’t work the “benelli” name with more time/better known name and effort Yey still fail. Also what the fook has your dealers /sealers terrible work ethic got to do with you suffering cos they can’t work properly? all it show reading between the lines they have problems, it’s so bad the have problems they cant bs their shit around it enough, if I was to put it diplomatically. -
Those ones will use a gyro, alt and accelerometer to work out what the airbag is doing in time and area, some do not activate until they get to 20mph.
-
No it’s not bothered about pot holes or forgetting to disconnect, it needs x amount of force over x amount of distance plus the cord has a little give for extra resurance/buffer. the cordless air bag inflates within something like well under 50ms which still is quick if you doing a sudden dead stop from 200mph+ yet corded is still well under 100ms, which is stupidly quick….quicker than a blink and before you’d get near your bars let alone the air.

Family member used to issue many actions through the system, Id have to ask her. off memory it was how flippant the county was but as a rough guide in her area it was internally 7 days from the offence to the process and out the door it would be safe to say conviction within the 14 days total. as a grey area if you was just over 1-2mph they might not be as bothered but if you was really naughty you’d be bang to rights regardless, region dependent. now once again area dependent, if it was really busy it was a lucky dip if your picture was within the randomly picked batch to process. Apparently.

Metal Shavings in Engine Oil - Honda PCX 2021 125cc
RideWithStyles replied to krm712's topic in Motorbike Chat
The only other thing I can think of if fresh water or moisture has been added to the oil but not mixed with it yet so metal / air and water separation /bubbles have started a three some but yet not finished doing the nasty and gone milky….. -
I’m not sure it does as it is a budget bike and as billy says they normally like to show the fact off for the buyer and scum. Any thatham approved immobiliser should qualify. If you can push the boat out a little bit then a tracker would be better for you and them. datatag immobiliser alarm does not have sub, data tag markers do not just a one off fee. Trackers do have a subscription
