  1. looks nice as a plant pot and helmet and at least the plant can breathe, more than i can say for a human that would have to use it.
  2. id go alot further by putting extremist view aside involving a industrial compactor while the owner is still in it, all whist hoping the owners inner demons dont surface out like in the superman film when they find out their laptop was thrown in containing their favourite power point slides of some bs they made up to make their job worth while ...what i think of them and their general need in society doesn't get more positive than that.
  3. on a lower triple clamp aswell .. just well honda made a saving to themselves all the while have made biking more expensive now that part of ownership you have to buy xp rust blocker applied to everything before buying and after wards at every opportunity, at the same or higher rate of chain cleaner snd lube... any long term owner will have to do their owner modification of stripping and re painting parts, well it will be interesting to see how many different shades of black each bike has- halfords cheap black paint, some random black paint left on the garage floor for 20yrs last used on a ford capri...so many choices.
  4. thats old school simples of two way split of M and F., what about the extras that mentioned beforehand husoi? oh don't forget about them, who gets what colours? oh an the colour blind lot and the ones who claim to be it when they venture to the wrong one?
  5. as siad but you need to get intouch with the dealers (if they exist anymore) and if their prepared to put their stamp again to a new book...good luck.
  6. clunking is a transmission problem, id check the chain tension first - also has it stretched too much? some bikes like the chain a tad tighter than book says but that depends if your doing it correctly? some old school mechs like to stick a rag or or a screwdriver in between the chain and the rear sprocket... not my style really. next is if the rear hub rubbers have worn (crush drives), if there is slop forward and backwards will be the most noticeable. after that its gets more mechanical.
  7. holy moly if that from spain id be fookinging over that dealer and spain, heck get marques on the case- Wd40 isnt the best for rust and bikes, good chain and silicone sbut for rust- xp rust blocker far is better.
  8. corporations believe consultants is a higher level of intelligence, but really just some mofo who is paid more yet the company has no idea what they do but "need them" to fill the profile of a job role that they "dont want full time" but keep them full time cos upper management and HR have no idea wft they are doing. thats my experience of 99% of it.. if you get the chance, go for it cos you haven't anything to lose but to gain from the incompetent ar*eholes running the show.
  9. only they will make left for one side and right for the other, which side of the road your travelling will make you wrong and a devient mofo that makes you front or second page of some rag paper depends on the ranter and if its a quiet day for news.
  10. yes crudely but that is taking the assumption that the rider you pointing to has no idea nor any prior knowledge, they may have no machinery/mechanics experience but could ride really good from the off..
  11. Yes if you want to be crude and technically incorrect but no, a power commander came first but a Remap is a new and potentially a more complex of a software that PC just tweaked the zeros and ones differently from stock to tell the bike what to do ( bit like a parasite or a overlord) where as the flash is a complete fresh software that has a lot less of the original design bedded i to it.
  12. torque for a inline 600? wrong bike. performance with an old honda, nope. id go with fish and bonio suggestion of suspension and it may have been viewed as ok back then but its seriously below par at best now, fork valve (especially) and shock upgrades though roughly off memory depending on year trying to get that bike to work really well cheaply might be hard.... choose a really well respected suspension tuner.
  13. woaw far too much open to confusion / people with divisive intentions. it was bad enough when they thought too much into gay/homo potential interest/sexual interest/intentions...
  14. The mofo in a tesla who has no understanding of the round about, lane discipline that was quite contemp to run me off the road cos the fing moron got in the r wrong lane and thought they could jump the queue.
  15. yea ES screwed up the coms. yep get what your meaning nick, just croc smile of pc/pr bs? i hope skinner really goes well, think its a bit pants to be locking off the vvt of the bm when its completely std on the road bike at great cost to the manufacturer, so not cost effective to remove/delete it like the removal of traction control to all bikes which was only put into the regs so honda wouldnt throw their toys out of the pram years ago... cant say i didnt laugh of the honda team saga for the most part of the weekend, makes you really worry about the durability if its killed two engines/gboxes in one short meeting. i thought the penalty to currie was completely out of order myself, as he was on the correct line minding his own shite only to be tboned on the inside mid corner. liked the Narra track, bits of it reminded me of uk sections, one was the last section of snetterton before the drag to the line, one last part of knockhill, thruxton, like to do a track day there.
  16. bikes are harder to learn from and more cost for out lay compared to cars. well if we were to screw over car licenses like they have done with bikes: first license (id say regardless of age) lets say 2 years minimum on a under 1ltr car super mini non turbocharged two or three cylinder max old school ICE ENGINE with under 70bhp and a power to weight ratio of say near f all after of a theory and full two stage test. then to go 1.2-1.4 NA engine of PTW of a faction more after another two stage test with another two years endurance, then another one round or foolery's but old school 1.6 max engine, next 1.8. but of course were in the electric age so now it will have to be power/torque/weight/size/type combo balance act that makes BSB regs look like first year show and tell....
  17. I just watch the bsb/wsb racing rather than dithering old people in to expensive clothing trying to look yun un hip babble about something they remembered to roughly resightle from google the night before...
  18. . chains are very different to frames- materials, stresses, expectations. chains are consumables that are expected to last a few years and rust is expected (use/user care) and x miles while frames to last the life of the bike unless of course your suggestion is that honda have decided that go like the chinese and the two have the same lifespan as a throw away commodity just before the pcp deadline , maybe honda will kill biking in their business sector before govs /EU get a chance to do to them.
  19. does depend on what your buying (if sales are slow for it to targets or losing money) and what your px is. to them its balancing it to their advantage as much as poss (money).
  20. sometimes its not the peak hp that matters , its the delivery from the configuration of the engine that matters.
  21. to be honest the license saga is pretty much killing biking. Shame they dont do the same for cars, lets see how much that changes applications.
