Stu Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 The screwdrivers in tool kits are disposable! you use them once then throw them away But it is a really good question! I have never checked and I would assume they would be Quote
Westbeef Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Well I hope they last more than one use I used mine to sort out my battery terminals Quote
raesewell Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I have a set of Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) screwdrivers but quite often change the fasteners where possible to hex or allen. Quote
fastbob Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Unless it's a classic restoration I always replace every single screw and bolt with an Allen bolt . Quote

TimR Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Regardless of the type of tool you need for the fastener if you buy cheap fasteners expect cheap material that will chew up regardless Quote

People changing fasteners from screw to torx/hex type are prone to buying the generic cheap kits off ebay which will chew the head up just as much as a screw head would Quote
