I'd just like to give learningtofly a round of applause for being the only person in the history of the internet to request constructive criticism and them actually try and learn from it rather than flouncing off.

Well done Sir :salute:

I'd of preferred a flouncing off on one .

Oh no I would tell you if I thought that.

Well, it’s very kind of you to say so!

Ah you're a posh twat! We'd get along great :-) It seems that subscription notifications aren't turned in by default - I've changed that. Good so far, nice credits... Bit long though.

I've been doing a bit of channel "branding" - I think it looks a bit more cohesive now, and future vids will have matching intro/ending clips. I haven't been able to post anything more yet, though, as I have a Sena 10c Pro combined camera and communicator arriving tomorrow so I want to use that for any new uploads.

I really didn't want to spend more money on this, and ended up selling a camera lens I wasn't using to cover the cost. Hopefully it'll prove to be a sensible decision.

Subscribed! Good effort getting set up, channel layout looks good. As others said, 5-10 mins is the sweet spot and, I know it's just practice runs at the mo, but some purpose/story to the vids would make them worth watching. Nice story about he 500 mile upgrade!

Thank you very much, and I appreciate the tips.

The new Sena 10c Pro arrived yesterday, and after a bit of faffing the mic and speakers are now installed. It may be a few days before I can get out with it, though, given the weather forecast.

I've just been able to watch the second. My main feedback is be harsh with your editing. For this one, I think you could have split it into two uploads, one being the story on getting the triple. Then the general one on going to the dealership with some of your thoughts on the slip road layout and the filtering (which I felt was very reserved and sensible, and a refreshing change from some of the stuff you see uploaded).

edit: but what I forget to say was, I did enjoy it, I just felt as we moved on that you could have made the two separate videos.

That’s really good feedback - much appreciated, thank you. I’ll certainly bear that in mind for the next one, and will try to be much more focussed (and ruthless).

When I read that you enjoyed it I actually had a big smile on my face :D

Well, the next one's up, FWIW

I've got it down to...

*drum roll*

13 minutes!!! Me saying "errr" probably accounts for about half of them

13 mins on that one was fine (yeah, I'm going to be fickle like that).

We do now need you to record a vid of your recording setup. You'll be surprised how many views that is likely to get, as people will search for that camera to view what it looks like on a helmet.

One final thing, if I was to be mega boring I'd feel the need to point you towards The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 which covers being able to view video on a motor vehicle (it's why dashcam screens generally turn off by default after a few seconds). Just something to consider if you keep the camera link on whilst moving.

Oh blimey - I’d better have a read of that, thanks

Couldn't you fit an aftermarket can to drown out your voice ... You do drone on a bit .
