Noble Dave Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 How many years no claims pal? Plus rather new model bike so may not be as much history into claims with em, on which due to the unknown will increase premiums Quote
Bender Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 If you don't check insurance prices before getting the bike then you run the risk of a surprise. It will come down next year if your good. Quote
gsijay Posted March 19, 2019 Author Posted March 19, 2019 Cheers peeps....lesson learnt there check before you buy.....just as well I didn't jump straight in and got the R1 they has in showroom ....... Quote
skyrider Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 that might have been a frightening experience insurance wise Quote
potatobroxd Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 avoid pink pound insurance; its called right choice insurance and should always be the cheapest quote most of the time. They'll screw you over and waste your time so youll eventually be a lot better of buying from more reputable insurers like mce Quote

Westbeef Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I pay just under that on a 17 year old CBR, I'd be quite happy with that quote Quote
geofferz Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Bargain! An r6 is £1500 for me. A new R1 is 3k. I paid £1200 last year for my mt10. Quit whining, get riding! Pics pls. Quote
Noble Dave Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Damn you pay some crazy insurance! My 1999 is only £187 per year, and that covers pillion, and all my gear! Quote
potatobroxd Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Reputable like mce Insurers are insurers, they'll bend you over any chance they have. It's like playing fck marry kill with hitler, trump, and a chinese bike Quote
Guest Richzx6r Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I'm hoping that today won't have hurt my insurance premiums too much Quote

Cam93 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I got quoted 8900 for a r6, so yes 500 odd is very good Quote

Amy thoughts If you have zero NCB that's probably not too bad at all. The cheapest quote on my Street Triple was double that! Quote
runningman Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Wow.....Some scary insurance quotes. Under £100 fc on my 13 plate Street Triple R. Only started out at £220 fc as a new rider with zero ncb 5 years ago. Quote
brad93 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I’d say that’s cheap. I’ve been getting quotes for when I pass my MOD1&MOD2 and am getting quoted nearly £1000 for SV650’s and Er6N’s. At that price I don’t know if I’ll even bother Quote
Bender Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 20190203_143722.jpg Wow what's the chances of getting a pic of an r6 with Harry hill on it Quote
