Superbike factory reviews?

From personal experience I can't believe anyone other than those with poor credit ratings would touch them. I was tempted by a 24 plate BMW XR900 so I took my 23 plate mint Tracer 7GT with 4K on the clock to Donnington. They offered me £3k. People must be very desperate if they accept offers like this in exchange for a replacement bike. If this is their business model I can't see them lasting much longer in an already stale market.

Not so high on Google maps, which I prefer for reviews, best thing with reviews is discount anyone who has only ever done a single review, usually means they were offered something or pressed into it, not always but mostly.

I can see how they would get some good reviews, some folk believe everything they are told, if you buy a bike that's cheap, doesn't breakdown and the sales guy was friendly what you going to complain about, if they then ask you to leave a review your probably going to, it's just a numbers game.

Of late every other Google review is bad 😂

Seriously don’t touch them 6weeks in still no bike  and there taking payments avoid iv tried to cancel order now they won’t respond so iv issued a court proceedings as im not paying 13k for bike that I haven’t even got .

Seriously seriously seriously……I’m 9 weeks in and still no bike

took my money and now just messing me about

I contact them daily and they can’t give me an answer to what’s going on

they said bike was needing parts and it’s with a technician but can’t provide me with proof of parts ordered or an invoice for parts

I think I’ll start with court processings also to get my money back

Glad I read back….

1621 reviews in 2022,  now 12,660.  That’s 11,039 reviews in 2 years.

That’s near enough 16 bikes a day, I suppose 3 bikes a day per branch?

Those are only the sales that get reviews, most with named sales persons and response from Dan. Dan in response to one review said they are a company of 300 employees, that’s 60 employees per branch.

Let’s say they are all part time (20 hours a week) and earn £12k a year on minimum wage, that’s a £ 3.5 million a year wage bill ignoring other costs.

They must sell allot of bikes, how many are actually sold in the uk each year?

The 3% bad reviews are worth a read.

Interesting to note Fowlers only got 44 reviews over this period someone else can work out the relative increases.

Do NOT trust there reviews………

the sales team forces you to give a 5*review at time of sale and will not proceed to next steps until they have seen the review (sales team tell you it’s how they’re bonuses are calculated)

Sorry to see and say but if you see that bike again more than likely it will now have parts from a eBay scap mech from a stolen 30 thou mileage winter hack special…. Don’t ask me how I know other than it happened to me…

Just a suggestion for those who can back up there experiences.

A short email to trustpilot might not go amiss. Particularly if you mention part off reason for using said company was trust pilot reviews.

It seems they are sensitive about fake reviews etc.

Superbike factory sales team will not process the sale of a bike until you have left positive feedback on trustpilot (and they monitor it while they have you on the phone)

I don’t know if it’s possible to contact trustpilot directly and report superbike factory and there bullying forces for feedback

This one I guess? https://superbikefactory.co.uk/2021-bmw-s1000xr-red-with-2570-miles/
It's marked as reserved; does that mean you've only paid a deposit? If so, just walk away. You'll have done well to get away just £99 lighter.

Pity isn't it? They have loads of bikes and they all great in a browser. And some of them are pretty good in real life too. Too many, though, are completely untouchable.

Just waiting for a rook of new members on here telling us how great the super bike factory is.

Seems to be there mode of operation, plenty of new really good review in last few dates like over 100 on trustpilot,  google has fair few as well.

Alternatively the admins @Stu might have requests to take this post down.

Seems to be there mode of operation.

Oh no. Bad luck mate.
You have a right to a bike that's "fit for purpose" and "as advertised". But SBF probably won't want to play ball. Get some advice like from Citizens Advice advice or somewhere.

Can’t comment on buying. Looking to upgrade my CB125F. Anyway it’s basically brand new, few hundred miles on the clock, 6 months old. I was curious on value so put it into their website. I have since received around 7 phone calls and half a dozen emails chasing me about it within 6 hours.

Also the quote offered was insulting not that I would have accepted anyway.

Would not even look to buy from them purely based on this. Had to resort to blocking them

That should be fairly straightforward, trading standards and vosa , it's illegal to remove emission stuff and pass an MOT and sell it.

The law

Under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulations 61(7) and 61A(3)) and the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Section 42) it is an offence to use on a road a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet.

Trading Standards are impossible to get hold of in most places now. Their funding has been cut to the bone over the past 15 years and often will only take complaints from business, not members of the public. Not sure VOSA still exists; I think it became DVSA but I have been able to get through to them to report problems with HGV operators who tried to get me to drive dodgy wagons.

Can't help but notice that the people who said it was great and left a 5-star review said it was a nice place to look round with a lovely selection of bikes.

The people who left one-star reviews (some of whom said they wished no-stars was an option) were those who had bought bikes, or tried to.

(This was the Milton Keynes outlet.)

Did the exact same when my Cb125f was about 6 months old (it's a 2023 registration and had about 800 miles on, mint condition, never dropped (even now) and they phoned me at least 12 times within 2 days. A dozen emails chasing the trade-in/sale. ) They offered me £1600. A drop of £1400 in 6 months for something barely run in and had just had it's first service 200 miles before.

Ignored them and they stopped communication attempts after a couple of weeks.

I'll be selling it privately when it comes to it and using cash to pay it off/deposit/new lid/towards insurance...

Had 2 lookalike models of bike to consider that I'd seen via ebay. I called up spoke to the rep about one who said was superb condition. Turns out it wasn't. I'd mentioned briefly the other one. I went back on Ebay a coupla hours later. The other bike's price had been increased by £200.

Superbike reps if you're reading this - you're out of order! Greed, sly = untrustworthy + loss of reputation as far as this mere mortal is concerned.

You very nearly had a potential sale so thank you for exposing yourselves to this potential mug 🤣
