Mississippi Bullfrog Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Winter kit back on for today's ride. Last Tuesday I was in my summer kit and it was perfect. Not today though. Quote

Guest Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Afternoon. Sorting my shit out this year. Used to be pretty fit, got up early trained at gym, walked couple of miles to work, active work all day (tree work, habitat management etc.) Walked home, but past few years have been less active and mental health issues and the like have got in the way and I've got fat and out of shape. Been making changes since end of Jan and have now lost a bit over 17lbs. Feeling better, more energy, more positive, generally going well. Quote

I've got protracted heart issues with no sign of seeing a cardiologist since diagnosis in September. I used to exercise 4 times a week and can't do anything until I see a specialist so I know how it feels 2 Quote

Somehow I'd almost resigned myself to feeling crap but snapped myself out of it. Hope you get to see someone soon. Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 My parents had an interesting weekend. They live opposite a wide grassed area and on Friday travellers set up camp. They were a bit alarmed as last time it happened the grass was destroyed with rubbish left everywhere. However on Sunday afternoon four of the guys went round with bin bags and cleared everything up, then packed it on their vans and left without leaving a trace behind them. 3 Quote
Fozzie Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Good afternoon! Had some time off and a long weekend for the girlfriends birthday, on a short week before going away at the end of this week to Anglesey. Got the get the Blackbird serviced up, and sold next week, as I'm trying to go back to a 600cc. Quote

What will your 600cc replacement be? 1 Quote

What will your 600cc replacement be? Something like this, but probably the single banana seat version so I can take pillions more easily. And carry more luggage. Across the somewhere in the region of 30 bikes I've owned, I've had 5 CBR600F's. The carbed version, the F-sport, and the brief 2013 iteration. But the best one was always the 2001-2007 run injected version. 3 of the 5 ended up being crashed into. But my later 2 survived 3 years each. I need something that is just faithful, can be used for practically anything, and let me do my projects, or even own along side something I use as a Sunday best. This is the only bike I've owned that I feel lets me do that. 1 Quote
