Hmm....for once I read the instructions and I am glad I did. I was casting a lead keel ballast for my model boat, this was my first attempt. I am glad I had donned fireproof overalls,  safety glasses, heavy duty gloves and a breathing mask......because when the mould was half full it burst in half spraying droplets of molten lead everywhere.

Lesson learned, build a bigger mould.

That looks a good outcome in the end. 👍

Good morning. And a big thank you to all who make this a (relatively) sane corner of social media. 👍

Oh, and here’s a video from our trail cam just because I can.

Fox on the run?

I set a trail cam on the bird feeders, trouble is they blow around in the wind so i've quite a bit of not a lot there.

I have to be careful about siting the camera. Moving grass or leaves can set it off which results in lots of images of moving grass and leaves.

We use a Ceyomur CY50 budget friendly version from Amazon.

The cat got chased off by a dog who was visiting and the Mrs was worried sick. He's not coming back etc.. I love that cat etc.. So we set up some food in the summer shed and got the cam and waited. He turned up after a couple of days.

I would share the footage which is pretty good to be fair, but, it's avi and not an accepted fie type on here. The 'save as' a different file type are also not supported on here. So that's the end of my attention span with that.

That’s why I had to load it to my YouTube channel.  I don’t post on it often - it was mostly for family members  to look at. It’s kinda weird looking back at my old videos. I may do some tidying up.
