God's country has gone white this morning, looks great. Unfortunately most primary routes out of the valley have been closed, I guess because they have changed colour, 10 mm of snow!

We had planned a trip to the Lakes today to celebrate my Ladies Birthday,  her choice was 4 wheels, as a result, we may have to reschedule, I am hoping I can eek it out till next spring and loose some wheels, as if....

Hehe, that'll learn me.

Had to sit in a queue with the riff raff for over two hours while someone set fire to his bus on the M53 this evening.

Got so bored I even tried wearing the spectacles they gave me a few months ago.

Turns out the real world is MUCH sharper than previously imagined. I'm not sure I can cope with all those clearly defined edges, but now I've sort of developed a conscience about it...

We're doing OK! Thanks, she's had major surgery and it will take several months to get back to normal eating etc. If ever! But the actual recovery is going very well and we haven't fallen out yet!

Things there were frozen became unfrozen now they are flooded things, I don't have to deal with the floods but I do get to plodge around fixing the bursts for the stupid people...
