Steve_M Posted Tuesday at 07:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:14 Good morning. Today we will be installing pond liner into the newly dug hole in the vegetable garden (we know how to have fun). When I say “we”, I’ll be supervising as I’m struggling to walk after crocking my foot while at judo last night. Ouch! 3

Simon Davey Posted yesterday at 16:14 Share Posted yesterday at 16:14 Good afternoon Started our 7.5 ton horsebox for the first time since February. It fired up on the button, the brakes released quickly, and I went out for a nice drive for an hour. No aircon, so windows open and enjoy the muck spreading 2
Bender
I'm making a lightweight kitchen unit for our little van, it's going slowly as time is hard to find, finished the worktop tonight. Laminated 5mm ply, 20mm styrofoam and. 3mm ply, strong and light, ohh and some shiny Formica.
Simon Davey
That's pretty cool. Can the Formica take any heat? (just out of interest)

No different to any bought kitchen worktop surface other than it's genuine Formica.and it's on ply and polystyrene Are you planning on burning some It will try to expand and deform and separate from what ever it's stuck to sometimes giving a loud pop as it gives in.

Available in many many colours and patterns, in America it's pretty common to just build benches out of ply and just stick on whatever finish you want. Easy to go wrong on big areas though.
