Dunno, the amount of rain around we could still be in it. Admittedly it's not actually precipitating at the moment but it's grey, damp and miserable. Typical horrible English winter weather in fact.

Tuesday and Wednesday we had blessed dry roads. What a treat to be able to put the bike away without cleaning a ton of crud off first.

To clarify, that's special fragrant priestly oil, not Castrol Power 10W/40.

In our house Castrol Power Racing 10W/30 is considered a fragrant priestly oil.

 

It's also a very pretty festive red.

Have just returned from the Post Office where Mrs. Fiddlesticks had dispatched me to procure 50 Second Class Stamps.

One day I'll learn. My paperwork filing system is a big box on the floor. Anything and everything goes in there as I pretend I don't have to file my tax return until the 28th reminder from HMRC. Three days I've spent trawling through it and doing all the itemising. Finally submitted, so I've now got just over a month to pay my bill. Next year's box is coming along well.
