    Welcome gavmacmac

    Welcome to the forum @gavmacmac
  3. Hi and welcome to the forum The cost of restriction would be more than a cbt so I would do another cbt If you are caught then you look at a fine and points for not riding in accordance with your licence! It's not worth the risk to be honest
  4. No! But you get more mid range power with it
  5. Might be worth looking at some back exercises to stretch and strengthen the muscles Even if its not the bike it can't hurt to do them
  6. You're just out of practice that is all
  7. Oi get it done now! Or whenever you like
  8. It could be linked to the bike but you ould have also slept funny! It really is hard to say to be honest
  9. Well they are both slacking so someone has to take the job on board
  10. This is false! I tested the theory a few years ago and posted the results on here I took two sealed bearings which where for my zxr400 front wheel I then proceeded to jet wash them at point blank range to the point that it marked the outside of the plastic seal Opened the seals up and there wasn't a drop of water inside Bear in mind that you also have an outer dust seal on bearings too and you don't wash them at that close proximity
  11. As a collective we have 1 and 2 cars! so just voted 1 and 1 car seen as though thats all that was available
  12. even if MCE was £50 I would still renew
  13. I don't think he liked the answers and flounced

    Happy Birthday

    Happy birthday @rennie
  15. There is a market out there for all sorts of custom bikes but building one from scratch with your ideas is all good and well but you would then need someone to buy it with that taste! I think the challenge will be getting it just right that its customised and just right in that a fair few people like it and want to buy it and doing a good job so it looks smart and well built and not cheap and tacky There is also a market for custom bikes like older LC's with modern suspension and wheels etc so it might be worth exploring that avenue too I know someone who just spent over 20k getting one built for him At one point cafe racers was the in thing too but not sure if there is a great demand for them! but saying all that if you are building one bike at a time then you only need one buyer Good luck with it and I hope it works out for you
  16. And also that's the old engine gearbox nd swing arm and not the one that's affected
  17. It's for the gs not the RT Although the RT uses all the same running gear

  20. Except if you're insured with bennetts and their policy states whats already covered as per my first post Other insurance companies do the same so do check with them!

  22. And this is the reason I am with bennetts insurance Other insurance companies do the same so check the policy wording before declaring mods and buying is what I do

  24. Just got back today and I must say it was a fantastic weekend! We turned up on Friday afternoon and just mulled around watching a bit of practice then on Saturday we was there for 8:30am to find a good spot just after druids to watch warm ups qualifying and the racing! We never moved all day except for a pee and food Basking in glorious sunshine all day! Luckily the factor 50 stopped us from burning Sunday was the main day! we was there for 7.15 parked up right outside the main entrance in our VIP parking spot took a walk around before heading up to the Motorsport vision centre where there was a suite waiting for us with fantastic views plus breakfast dinner and tea (lunch and dinner to you southerners ) and a free bar from 11 We had Jason O'halloran was come up to do a meet and greet We also had a pit lane walk then laps in a safety car and a grid walk too.
