Mine's a 2010 plate and goes 75 max - 70 is its normal top speed tho methinks. How bizarre! I love that my 125 goes faster than my hubby's hope you get it sorted!

Before the rain we hope (which is scheduled for 11am accd to BBC weather)! V kind of you - but only if you don't mind and wouldn't rater have a lie in! Ollie says we need some tools that we don't have for it he thinks - which we can PM you with later, (save you having to bring lotsa stuff). He's out tonight at a comedy club straight from work so can't talk to him about it but 99.9% sure he'd say "yes please" too! -
swear filter!! theres not many words that are filtered No, that was me that filtered the particularly rude words. I feel like shit is not much worse than crap but I suppose f**k and w*nk prob a bit much. Coulda used the 'c word' but thought better of it
-
Nah, no sweary filters - what you said really! Thanks, not sure how work will improve - I'm normally the uber positive, motivational crazy one who loves her job, but since April our workload has got more epic and cutbacks are being made, not enough staff, new staff that don't put the work in and make life hard for people like me who do stuff properly, despite the orthodontists still raking in the money; life there has become very hard and I'm just peeved about lack of pay rise after working so hard on my course and having 5 years experience etc. Oh and I had a dentist appt and need THREE fillings! I didn't look after my teeth amazingly well before being a dental nurse and some demineralisation has finally turned to minor decay - LAME! Not had one since I was 12! And yeah, feel v upset about my grandad. He's gradually losing his marbles and my poor nan gonna be without him. Can't imagine living with and loving someone most of your life and watching them gradually leave you behind. Sadness. I'll cheer up. Sorry for the massive grumble, but glad it made ya laugh. Thanks too Zod. Ollie now gonna bike to Norfolk with me as planned to see my mum this weekend, then going to London to see my gramps and paternal family next wkend

Everyone and everything. Shitty day at shitty work - I do too much shit there that everyone becomes dependent on me, got lots of shitty qualifications and apparently not getting a shitting pay rise - on the same shitty pay as the shittest members of staff but do epic amounts more work than them. Shitty annual leave allowance, spent loads of my own time that I don't have enough of doing shitty radiography qualification for nothing - and now I have to work for the shittyest dentist because I can do all his shitting work taking xrays now, as well as do everything else for him other than wipe his arse after having a shit. Been out this eve on my bike feeling shitty, now I'm pulling all my shit out of our cupboards we don't want anymore, Ollie's bike is being shitty and I just want to bike to shitting London to see my grandad because he's now gone from staying alive with cancer for 3 years to not much f*cking longer as antibodies are now attacking his brain. But I have to wait to see how shitty Ollie's shitty Ollie's shitting bike is before I can do anything because he'll get shitty with me if I just f*ck off without waiting to find out. But he's going out after work and won't be home til past f*cking midnight. Shitty shitty w**k. I'm flying the red flag and all the shit that's been bothering me needs to die right now. PS - love to all of you!!

Thanks so much for all your help lovelies. Maybe will just show Ollie this thread and accept my fate of huffs and moaning! -
Right, Wallie (RantMachine) is gonna get the arse at me for asking this, but I don't want us to have to cancel our weekend trip to Norfolk because of it, and I like to know my hubby is safe of course Basically his chain is making a real horrible loud metal-scraping noise when he is between changing gears. He has gone thru the Hanyes (which, knowing him Mister Sensible, he would have been pretty thorough), has cleaned and oiled the chain (not Benn-style thankfully! ), checked its tension and there's no evident problem. Apparently it's done it for a little while, and he gets it serviced regularly - thanks to his very short service schedules - and nothing has been picked up by the dealer either. I've noticed it before but think it's getting louder. His next service is very soon anyway - Saturday next week. Would massively appreciate any advice if anyone has any idea what it may be...Ollie is working between 2-10pm today so I may be able to delete this thread before he sees?? Hahaha! Thanks lovelies

I've got a feeling cow bike names might be my new thing!! We'll see... Yeah would be great to have more people on our little outings, and hopefully before the end of the year Ollie and I will have new bikeys and our full licenses. Love the colour of Roger's bike- icy blue v nice. Shame Ollie was thrre, he'd have had a little drool I'm sure ! First time I've ever had to ride on w*nky gravelly poor excuse for a road resurfacing! Good to have done it so I won't be as baffled in the future! Btw that lady who supplied us with tea was awesome! -
Sunday 21st July Bimble
BikerMooFromMars replied to Bonniebird's topic in Cambs & East Anglia Rideouts and Meets
Ok, so I just went outside to look for the b*stard ice cream van (that seems to play its jingle and never arrive!!), and not only does Roger live on the same road as me - but he's only bloody 10 houses away, just seen the bikey outside!!! Did plan on getting you a Cornetto and popping round with it, but complaints in writing to Mister bloody Whippy who is only out to torment me!!!!!!!! He's literally come down our road once this year! But anyhoo - what a lovely bimble that was! I was actually really on edge on my way to the Marina because it's the first day I've not worn earphones listening to music quietly - had completely forgotton how bloody loud it is in my helmet without em! But of course completely fine after when out with the crew .Great practice for Norfolk, I will just imagine Bob's in front of me and Mandy and co are behind me for maximum chilled biking! . Was lovely to meet Rhiannon after hearing so much about her, and Roger. Can't believe you're moooving away next week, sod's law! See you guys Tuesday I hope PS - totally calling my bike Ermintrude now! -
kevlar jeans?
BikerMooFromMars replied to buggerit's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I got Red Route ones for £40 at BMF! Tho I bought mine on a skinny day methinks cos they're a tad tight for me, and a teeny bit too short!! So I tuck em in my scabby £5 biking boots. With my too-big Furygan jacket...I really need to get some new gear...!!!!!! Never had an off in them - I'd just recommend you make sure you get ones that have built-in armour too -

Heya, Wallie told me about the bimble! Moo could do with a bimble before next weekend (Wallie and I biking to Mundesley in Norfolk to visit my mum and stepdad - will be my first long journey this year without Bonnie and Tango!!). Would love to join you all - Wallie can't come because of the usual milage watching before his service to kep his warranty! Yay, I'll get to meet Bonnie's daughter too! Cheers - see you all 12pm @ the Marina -

Trawled through pages and pages to find this old thread - I always intended on doing this, even before I saw this thread...and finally got round to it : http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/BikerMoos%20Piccies/RQ-SAM_1027copy_zpsdd214123.jpg The one I had my crash in - planted recently: http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/BikerMoos%20Piccies/RQ-SAM_1032copy_zps952cd6e4.jpg My first helmet Ollie got me that I dropped within a month or 2! - planted bout 6 weeks ago: http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/BikerMoos%20Piccies/RQ-SAM_1033copy_zps6f0e6ef9.jpg It's been a great conversational piece - has got us chatting to a couple of neigbours with bikes quite chuffed! Would like to be able to seal the bottom part rather than just have a plant pot balanced in there so I can fill it with the plants and soil -
Nope - can't stand baking in my jacket!!! Bob & Mandy: I hope you weren't trying to get me to wear this sort of clothing on the bike! http://uk.triumph.com/ Hahaha! Been on Triumph's website, can't see the vented jacket on there? Could you pretty please send me the linky if poss? If they don't have any left I just won't bother - don't want to spend much for the few summer days that are *too* hot for Moo! Have fun everyone have a veggie burger for me!
