  1. Aww, thanks for thinking of me But yeah much as I'd love to I won't be coming this year, the flights are a bit dear And nah Glorian ain't dead he just keeps on making crap excuses about not being able to afford a new bike then going on holiday to Iceland for a week
  2. Lexmoto at 75mph Nope Off a cliff?
  3. Two guys go hunting in the woods. They've been out there for a few hours and are hours from their truck, when one of them suddenly goes pale and collapses in a heap. The other guy freaks out and dials 911; Hunter: I need help, I'm out it the woods with a buddy and he's collapsed - I think he might be dead! Operator: Don't worry, we're here to get you through this. First I need you to make sure he's actually dead. The line goes silent for a bit then the operator hears a loud BANG. Hunter: Ok, what next?
  4. It's one hell of a gem of a thread
  5. And if you mean barkbusters type stuff, they'll fit more or less anything with the smallest amount of bodging (Check out Polisport if you want the most bang for your buck!)
  6. Daaaaaamn! 4000 miles is... maybe 8 services by Lexmoto service schedule standards? Unless they've gotten more lenient in recent years. I'm assuming that you must've been given the (blank) service book with the bike, if you know it's never been serviced? How many should it have had by now? If you're really lucky, it could just be that they did all the servicing at home and neglected to keep the receipts hence no paper trail
  7. Welcome to the forum! The adrenaline runs a copy of the DR125 engine, so I'd say that would be your best reference point unless you got a manual with the bike that says something. Guessing not, seeing as you're asking! My old Lexmoto didn't include such helpful info, either. So yeah, have a quick google search for a PDF version of the service manual for the DR125. Or the GS125 and GZ125, they all used the same engine and I doubt they varied the torque values in all honesty. Only really recommended the DR as a start point as it's the same type of bike as the Adrenaline.
  8. Following on from what Bob said, because I swear by Lomo and have convinced a few others to try them with equally positive feedback: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lomo-Dry-Bag-Holdall-60L/dp/B01FSHJOAQ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1515707120&sr=8-6&keywords=lomo+drybag+motorcycle or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lomo-40L-Motorbike-Drybag/dp/B00O254LHC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1515707280&sr=8-3&keywords=lomo+drybag+motorcycle Plus https://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorcycle-Adjustable-Strap-ROK-Straps/dp/B003DXRIBA/ref=pd_bxgy_200_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=40NHNJTMB24B7EJZBEF5 Even cheaper, and fully waterproof without having to use an inner bag.
  9. Rule of thumb: If it says "SW Motech" or "Touratech" on it, yes you are paying for the name. Without fail. Although in some cases there's a chance that nobody else will offer an equivalent product. But not in the case of a tailpack, so go for the Autokicker
  10. Crazy important on my old bike!

  12. We've got both Amazon and Netflix, and are planning to cancel Prime. Not enough stuff included as standard, and the films in particular are generally fairly pants. Also stuff like including season 1 of Preacher with Prime but then charging for season 2 really pissed us off. All that said, it's probably still worth it (just about) if you buy loads of stuff on Amazon and like getting speedy delivery. Some of the Prime exclusive offers can be good, too. But none of that is relevant to us any more (Prime is 2 to 3 day delivery here and costs a fair bit more) so we're bailing. Oh, but if you do give a Prime trial a go, watch "Rare Exports". Watched it last night, best Christmas movie I've ever seen
  13. Feel like I missed something here...
  14. One day, nobody will be playing TF2 any more. Until then, that's all I'm playing.
  15. Trap door was awesome. Courage was pretty damn weird, but let's pay some tribute to the show that carved the path for it... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eVM1nUmDHHc
  16. Congratulations, you've found your limits - time to start pushing them!
  17. What do you recommend for touring the motorways of Northern France? Knobblies, clearly. The ultimate do-everything tyre.
  18. I think the trick is to fill your mouth with gravy then try to talk without spilling any, isn't it?
  19. Yeah it's getting proper cold now, had to wear an (awesome) black t-shirt instead of a white one today to trap that extra heat. Wish I could find my sunglasses, they'd probably help too...
  20. Ta for updating us
  21. Pfffffhaaaaahahahaha oh wow
  22. Level ground? Because my Lexmoto couldn't break 50 if you went uphill or faced into the wind...
  23. Ah, right. No idea! It's grown on me though.
  24. Knobbly tires in wet?! I have those and i slipped hard, popped back in my dislocated sholder and carried on but i never felt slippy on normal road tyres. Now im crawling like ive never rode in the wet before after being confident in the wet since i started riding last december. Riding really scares me now not like the last time when i knew why i slid (ice) but because i dont know why i slid and believe its the knobbly tires?! Yeah that was a joke at the expense of a now-departed forum member who kept advocating off road bikes as the best for winter riding. I've ridden mine all through the winter but that doesn't mean I'd actually recommend it Although the experience of riding on muddy tracks does make you better at riding on slippery roads, I've found. But you're still better off with road tyres. Metzler Tourances are bloody amazing in winter. Also - cheers Beefy
