I've got some that I inherited from my grandad who was a master carpenter. I've also got a few of those long ones with a threaded shaft that you push to turn. -
I think seeing your own bones is the worst. I did something similar to my knuckle while whittling a catapult as a kid.

I'm 6'2" and have a zx6r. Bought it new in 2006 and have done some long journeys on it without problems. Don't rule something out until you've tried it!

Sod scissors! Gaskets are easy enough to make either with a scalpel/Stanley blade or a ball pein hammer.

Never had problems with cams on the bike but they don't allow them on helmets.

Can you get access though? Lot of places like that in Britain are locked up.......whereas in Spain you can generally get access. There's always a way mate.
