  1. YAY congrats Mod 2 is a lot less stressful as you get to go for a nice jolly remember lifesaver lifesaver lifesaver and make sure you clock any speed changes and we look forward to hearing about what bike you're gonna buy *coughninjacough*
  2. Practise and don't expect to go from 20mph to 60mph after just a couple goes it takes time! Also especially on long corners it's really easy to become fixated on the mid point or even the apex - you need to keep looking at your exit point of the corner constantly adjusting as the corner tightens or opens up - this also means your body position will allow the bike to more naturally follow the corner and make it easier. I think the worst mistake people make is trying to go too fast round corners too quickly. Also it's almost like there's some kind of weird stigma about going into corners slow - however as most people on here agree going in slow, rolling on the throttle gently round the apex and getting a good speed out of the good is very satisfying

  5. Smoking = setting fire to dried leaves Vaping = using the magic of electricity to atomise the liquid by heat into an inhalable substance normally containing nicotine You can buy the liquid in premade jars that you then pour into the vapor or you can make your own mad scientist styleeee. My mate had bubblegum flavour. It was rank.
  6. All helmets sold in the UK will have to meet standards to ensure our noggin is pretty well protected in a crash. Is Shoei or Shark or AGV or any brand really "worth more" than a 30 quid helmet? You're mainly paying for the brand, although stuff like pinlock and inbuilt visors are more standard in the higher end lids. I have a Shoei, I love it - it fits well and has a cool design. As with most things "worth it" is a matter of opinion
  7. Unprocessed wine and cider
  8. I think Neil M's may be coming but they're Northern so shockproof Challenge accepted. NO! NO, BAD RANT! NO CHALLENGE!

  10. Reddit has entire threads on stuff like this at least your ghost seemed to be a friendly one! On a side note I was reading entries in a super short story contest many years ago and the one I still remember was, I went to my sons room as he was crying and he said "daddy there's a monster under my bed" I looked under the bed and saw my son who said "Daddy there's a monster in my bed" For some reason it really creeped me out
  11. This is a totally legit fix

    Overheated?

Because taking stuff apart is fun it's the putting it back together that's the problem But also yeah, via you should go shout at the dealer
  14. A bit of a blast down a duel carriage way sounds like a good idea! You'll get to clear some cobwebs and it's weirdly calming! You do need to turn your head more the bike will go where you look and you just need to shift your weight slightly to balance. Also a few more revs will stabilise the bike. Mod 1 is the hardest bit but you'll get there!!
  15. Just to say I'm totally jealous of hooners hoodie!!
  16. Happy birthday bonniebird hope tango has bought you lots of farkles
  17. Me again! Coming back from mamahoggs and picked up a few more! First was castle rising was quite nice. Not sure why I look like I've eaten a wasp http://i.imgur.com/2qpG4DB.jpg Then over to Castle acre. Top tip: if you go when it's sunny there's an ice cream van in the car park! http://i.imgur.com/xtOkd3g.jpg Then to Norwich castle. Norwich is a stupid place with a stupid one way system and stupid no motor vehicle areas and a stupid castle. Stupid Norwich http://i.imgur.com/Vyw61NA.jpg
  18. On a side note I tried on some bullit jeans and found they ran massive! So would definitely recommend trying some on!
  19. Happy birthday mr b! May it be filled with sending dirty criminals to jail followed by booze and cake
  20. Tis a 2001 (x reg) had 15000 miles on the clock. Main reason it was cheapish was it has been dropped on both sides so the fairings all scuffed but I ride it every day in London so for my first bike a bit of superficial damage wasn't a bad thing! Not having the ARGH I HOPE I DON'T RUIN MY PERFECT BIKE voice when you're getting used to a new bike is quite nice
  21. Bad luck bluestew but don't let it get you down! Rebook and nail that sodding u turn the next time!
  22. Yes das! My bike was only 1500 and apart from a few small issues it's merrily done 6000 miles in 9 months and all weather. So really what I'm saying is buy a ninja
  23. Another one today! Tattershall castle http://i.imgur.com/UfNNiaL.jpg
  24. Newark castle. Fun fact. There are no signs at Newark castle that say Newark castle http://i.imgur.com/Zo6MEIb.jpg Also I'm aware 2 hours in the heat makes me look awesome. I am however taken.
