I fell off my 125 because the lights changed and the person in front of me stopped and I didn't expect it (and grabbed alllllllllll the front brake). "Luckily" the only thing I hit was the floor So now I always expect everyone to stop at every light! I have ran a couple of "probably red as I went over the line" though as whilst I was convinced I could stop I wasn't sure about the person behind me (who normally always accelerates even more to get across on proper red red! ) .... This has been a really interesting thread, 'tis true that the real learning starts after you pass your test and never stops!

I'd defo recommend a pinlock lid if you are planning on riding more than twice a year in the summer Hoggfather said you can drill them to take a pinlock but that frankly sounds terrifying.

Well I was gonna go down the a1 but I could be tempted by a Cockfosters detour if you want I wouldn't go down the a1 - you'll be going in the wrong direction It's up to you, I'm 80% sure I will be able to make it. If you want to come this way we could still do m25/a1 or go through potters bar/hatfield. Ugh pedantic I'll PM you my number you can let me know tomorrow
