Matt Le Blanc was awesome! His bit with the nomad was good solid entertainment
  4. Yikes But thx also. What time? (sorry perhaps this was earlier in the thread) meeting at noon for some food. Well most of us will be there at 12... *looks at Gin* All details have been updated in the first post
  5. Of course *Packs more green spray paint*
  6. Aww well good luck sorting your shit
  7. Fun shopping! Yes you need a new one because new things are betterererer Maybe look at some summer gloves at the same time
  8. So...... looks like you don't have a steering lock I have no idea if you can put one on but disc locks and a chain around the frame preferably to ab immovable object are going to be your best bets As said before if someone really really really wants it they'll probably get it. 99% of the time you just need to make it too much hassle for the casual scumbag
  9. Word up Kneedown Do you have a 125 now to wizz about on? If so then a week between lessons is fine as you can practise stuff between. If you don't that's fine but you'll have a bit at the beginning of the day just remembering how everything works and getting in to the swing of things. The bigger bikes should feel more comfy for you. Most centres do a free assessment. It's a good way to go check out the bikes they have, meet the instructors etc. I imagine they'll recommend either a 4 or 5 day course - you should be fine on a 4 (which gives you plenty of training time tI nail those tests first time!)
  10. Aim for a castle rennie they're more likely to still be there
  11. Pyschy glad you've found someone who you're getting on with - I was lucky with my bike training in that I has an awesome instructor from the get go but my first driving instructor (which was many years ago....) was horrible and knocked all my confidence out. Switched to someone else and it just all clicked. We know you're gonna get there! Keep on chipping away at the doubt you can do it

    YAMAHA R1 - 08

    IT'S A LOT LOUDER
  13. Well back in London town but hit up another three on the way back! Old Waldour castle. Favourite castle so far!! Epic twisties to get there probably not one you want to do in the rain http://i.imgur.com/PQA26Yo.jpg Then on to Ludgershall Castle which was alright http://i.imgur.com/1jNzoJg.jpg Then finally Donnington Castle which is also pretty cool. Bonus points to Donnington for the absolute legend of a guy we saw in the village giving us thumbs up and making the "go on rev the crap out of it" motion also I may have been going a bit silly at this point. It was quite warm out http://i.imgur.com/UqIAYlB.jpg
  14. Just in case anyone had forgotten what mine looked like http://i.imgur.com/RgMZyru.jpg
  15. There are green bikes in the street view so I'm in
  16. So we've escaped London for a jolly to Dorset and got a few tags along the way! Guildford castle (which was a pig to find! ) lovely gardens http://i.imgur.com/rC3Kn6u.jpg Then on to Farnham castle which was closed for a fancy private do http://i.imgur.com/reFrt4M.jpg From there a nice jolly to Bishops Waltham Palace http://i.imgur.com/Spvjd0p.jpg And then a separate jolly today and hit up Portland castle http://i.imgur.com/oTLpJiW.jpg We then found the wrong Sherbourne castle quickly followed by the correct one! http://i.imgur.com/pTcrEXM.jpg
  17. Dammit does that make me officially an adult?
  18. Aww we thought you'd gone in for a classic burn. Minus 5 points to you
  19. I'll go as the suitcase.
  20. Top Stuff sadly that madness you had on your test is kinda the norm when you're out on a bike but if you can handle it on a test you shouldn't have any problems in "real life" Ooh thuxtons are pretty cool, keep us updated with your purchase and pics when you get one!!
  21. I've also made changes so GAME ON MR W
  22. Soz Neil it's peer pressure innit
  23. Darn it I was hoping my bsb points may have put me ahead of Mr W! !! Aww there there Neil
  24. Hello! Don't give up just yet! As you said putting that kind of pressure on yourself is going to make you more nervous and nerves effect your balance which is going to make it a heck of a lot harder! I had a really good instructor who just went over and over and over everything until we nailed it everytime so we went to the mod 1 knowing it was doable! Lots of deep breaths were taken in between the exercises though! As for the places.. how much of a money difference is there from one to the other? I'd say having a training co you are comfortable with will make a difference, especially when it comes to the mod 2 training. But if the other place already has the cash then maybe hound them and maybe see if you can get a different instructor? You're paying them for a service if they are not providing that service they should either up their game or give you a refund (this is my opinion but hopefully there's some kind of consumer law that backs that up )
