  1. Our holiday insurance renewal went upto £580.00, I did some comparing and we are not renewing with them
  2. A nice eclectic mix
  3. We lived across the field from a fecking power station, their lights never went out. Ours didn't either, we had a 45 gallon drum of red diesel and a diesel generator on a trailer, it was probably big enough to power our entire street.
  4. Well done, good luck with mod 2
  5. Positive first, negative last, how many times do you need to hear it .
  6. Welcome
  7. Welcome (banter) Buy another bike (advice)
  8. I bag and take all the stuff I can to the tip, only time I didn't was putting garage in and had about 20t of soil to shift, was cheaper getting local grab man in than skips, took some piling up in the front garden though.
  9. Charges for commercial waste dumping has gone up as has wages, fuel, maintenance etc etc
  10. No wonder they left that till the end Most Normal CBT places wouldn't charge £100.00 if you needed to com back for a bit extra training to pass it, Def sounds best avoided.
  11. https://www.bikerschool.co.uk/ Probably looking at Glasgow to get anything remotely competitive. I'm glad my school didn't have any excess for bikes, tbh it's the first time I've heard that.
  12. Happy birthday. Toty, no we've had enough of them and they are gone now, onwards
  13. Good luck, let us know how it goes, when's the day ?
  14. If an injector is letting fuel past it would be noticeable, are all the sparkplugs the same colour ?
  15. It used to be very exciting where I lived, as kids we were forever making castle's out of it or burning it down, I think the farmer got fairly excited, I know the street residents and the fire brigade did.
  16. Unlikely, main roads are usually treated and volume of traffic keeps it running (normally), mod 1 will depend on state of play on test site, winter comes around every year, your school would be best ones to ask.
  17. Had a quick Google looks like it has a map rather than a maf whilst still a possibility more unlikely, still check for vacuum/air leak. Has a wax valve that helps look after choke IE running rich when warm, if the fecks up it's running rich.
  18. That's a different thing altogether, try drive 2 insure or Adrian flux, if they don't they should hopefully be able to point you in the right direction, a good insurance broker should have enough contacts to sort that for you but it's going to cost. Why was it cancelled/withdrawn ?
  19. Look for an air leak first, I'm not up on blackbird, if maf is resistance based could just be a build of of grime on wire, clean first, could be faulty maf giving incorrect reading on which it will base it's fuel mixture, does it have an air temp sensor or a lambda ?
  20. Wtf bings things other than chandler and that's past him now.
  21. Can't believe no one else got that.
  22. Welcome
  23. Grubb screws are usually to lock the pins which are eccentric so you can adjust the door slightly, usually seized solid, if the pins have Allen recess on top of hinge pins it should have grub screws, if non it shouldn't have. Sounds like an older door hopefully it's not hook bolts lock strip.
  24. I'm not a fan of the cylinder tops but other than that it's a bloody good looking bike Ps Is that cheddar gorge
  25. How much damage do you want to make to the door. It's hard to guess without seeing it, if the lock strip has fly out straight bolts and the hinges are exposed you can slice through pins with angle grinder. If the lock unlocked but the handle won't move, remove handle and spray where ever you can with wd40, into the internals of the lock, leave for a bit and wiggle lock back and forward and tap with hammer at same time. If lock barrel has gone it usually only fails from one side, can you feel any weight on the mechanism while it's turning, sometimes locking and unlocking a few times with oil added will help free a stuck spring. If a spring has snapped or something on the lock strip has come apart or is stuck solid it can be a pain. If it's got glass and or a panel and the lock strip is not hook bolts or locking rollers you can remove the glass and or panels and it gives a lot to play with to try and prise the door open. If it's the lock barrel drill it out, drill it just below the key way till your through all the spring tumblers, hoover out and use screwdriver in lock. All else fails, recip saw and a new door One of my last jobs before crimbo was lost keys on a security lock and no access to the inside of the property
