2. So err.. I have actually had a ride in a C5 and thought it was fantastic. The ergonomics of the handlebars under your knees looks all kinds of wrong but actually feels so very right, and because you're held in place/pushing against the seat you can really give the pedals some welly. In fact it'd be pretty damn useful for nipping to the shops now there are hardly any cars on the road!
3. What I don't get is a thief can just undo the bleed nipple and wheel it away..
4. That might be the closest MAG ever got to bing cool.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ait5MEPQKA
5. Search ebay with EBC code > sort by price + P&P lowest first > top one. Not even died yet! I am looking to break this habit with the K100 though, the brakes are so marginal that I just daren't. I fancy trying some of EBC's newish semi-sintered V series, haven't seen any proper reviews of them and the unknown is always enticing.
6. It seems they are made more cheaply than ever, yes. My 2016 Kawasaki has been quite the melter. I don't know who's best now, every modern bike I look at seems to be rushing to the scrap heap.
7. I have the wrong rear wheel on my K100 (a later 16v item) which bolts up fine but the rim is offset to the left by about 25mm, I've never noticed any handling difference except maybe a little weirdness when running along white lines. Tyre wear appears unaffected. Thankfully, because it's shaft drive, MOT testers never think to check it I also went Germany one year and didn't check whether the tyre man had fitted the rear wheel straight, which he hadn't.. It was a good few notches out but again I never noticed! The chain didn't even make any extra noise, amazing what you can get away with.
8. Like the clutch is slipping a lot? Or will it not rev high enough to get beyond walking pace? If you start it and put your thumb over the outlet of the exhaust does the engine stop? Or does it puff out from somewhere near the engine?
9. Found out the HDD was dying so tried straight up cloning it on to a new one which didn't work, then tried copying the files over which nearly worked but not quite because Linux pays entirely too much attention to the hardware's unique identifier, so ended up reinstalling. What a pain. Even worse than all that though, while the new machine was down I went back to the old one and by gum that sound card is so much better. Maybe I'll keep it around for music.. Another downside is that the new drive grinds and clicks so much it rumbles the whole desk, at least I know when it's working away I guess EDIT: Also thinking about how there were floods back when we could go outside, and now the fine leather jacket weather is here with super empty roads we're trapped indoors. S'not fair.
10. Someone mentioned Algy Ward so.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOmBJJCgY0k
11. It doesn't work like that for the Motors section of ebay though, all you're doing is registering your interest in the vehicle. They call it an non-binding bid. Looks like some people are pretty interested!
12. I don't really understand the question.. What's happened to the first one?
13. Cor a Mk3 Cavalier..! Brushed some oil on to the chain so it doesn't rust too much after yesterday's rain, pushed it around while braking to scrub off some of the rust, and then put it back. Bah. I nearly corrected the time on the dash but thought I'd save it for another day
14. Maxxis tyres are made in Taiwan though. I had an Avon AV56 on the back of the TRX and it was great in the dry but only lasted 4K. I've also had a Roadrider on the back of the K100 and thought it was utter crap but lots of people like them and I even saw some old boy racers at Coventry Motofest last year who had successfully melted theirs! Oh and also had a Streetrunner which was terrible. I love a good tyre thread, what was the question again?
15. This is a nice dreary one that has been stuck in my head for weeks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry0HJc0l9gA

17. Perhaps they knew that 5G would cause coronavirus
18. What kind of aftermarket bars have you found for £20? Presumably not Renthals?
19. I've got an M6029 Supermaxx on the front of the TRX and quite like it, plenty of grip and seems to be wearing well too. 33 PSI (as per the book) seems to work well, 36 is hard and chattery. Mind you, I quite liked the Nankang Roadiac WF1's it had too
20. Some pictures, prices and a location might help..
21. Imagine posting some Def Leppard that wasn't from when they were good. Imagine it. Can you imagine it Bender? Anyway.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kze_y7Y-aZY
22. It would appear to be a bunch of ex Iommi-and-friends people! Clearly they fancied a rather more modern approach Anyways, Samantha Fish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-M-VxlRBbcc
23. Time to bring this back.. With one for Xtreme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um59RTiUgyA The sheer gall to call it Black Sabbath though, pah! Iommi and friends more like.
24. Today I done gone and added yet another fan to the computer, when I first built it I was really impressed with how quiet it was but with overclocks, CPU and GPU processing and the warmer weather it now does a great job of impersonating a plane taking off. The water cooling setup is calling me..
25. Always worth checking if a brake is binding on a bit..!
