  1. I would start with the CVT. If the belt of rollers are worn, it could limit your top speed. Usually though it is a gradual decline in performance.
  2. That does look in great condition. A lot of bike for what the seller is asking.
  3. It's not that hard a job to do. Especially as you can just connect the newer version directly to the battery. Most of the different versions are just grip texture. But measure your grip length to make sure they fit. Some good fitting guides on YouTube.
  4. Can't remember the last time I've seen an original tiger. They all seem crazy cheap now.
  5. Definitely go with the Honda. Although made in China, the quality control is superior.
  6. I've had a few sets over the years. Really like them , better than some factory ones for heat. The older models used to go through control units every few years. But never had a problem with the newer version.
  7. Made any progress yet?
  8. Have you tried to see if the OBD shows any fault codes?
  9. Very interesting build you have going on.
  10. Still way to pretty for a race bike.
  11. Does sound like a float issue. Could be something sticking or a bit of debris. Some carbs it's also possible to fit the float in the wrong orientation. If the float has a slight leak fuel can get inside and cause the float to sink too. You can tell by shaking it if this is the case.
  12. It depends on what sort of riding you like to do. The R6 is the most extreme. The Honda is a great bike and generally lasts better than the suzuki. Which turns to get a different sort of rider owning them. At nearly twenty years old though I would be looking more to buy on condition and maintenance, servicing than a particular model.
  13. What style of bike do you eventually want to get when you have your full licence? Mate had a CBF as first bike did a ton of miles on it and very reliable. Hold its money well too.

    Torque Wrenches

The 2019 CB125 is a different bike, with a different engine. I'm sure a phone call to a Honda dealer would give you the information. Or why not pop in to the dealer you brought it from if local.
  15. Is that like the video says, people who only now realised? Or a new occurrence of missing entitlement? It's also things like no claim bonus on insurance as well. If you have a history of insuring big bikes, then have to do a new test. Where would you stand?
  16. I recall one instance of a dispatch rider losing his entitlement. Even though he had photo copies from three previous employers, they refused to give him his entitlement back. I haven't heard any cases for quite a few years now. So hopefully it's sorted.
  17. Well now she has been found guilty of careless driving. Will she show up for the sentencing? I find it unlikely after the way she has acted up till now.
  18. Only owned two Honda motorcycle. One owned for six years and never went wrong. Other needs a full engine rebuild. it's funny how we seem to stick with certain brands. I have owned so many Yamaha bikes.
  19. She has shown no remorse throughout the negotiations to bring her to trial. Horrible woman.
  20. Great purchase. my mate really liked his one. Very comfortable for distance, and a great bike to learn on.

    F my life.

    Oh crap!
  22. Where I used to live, they spent weeks removing all the cats eyes from the centre of the road. All down badly lit roads with dangerous ditches.
  23. That's the thing I suppose. To ride it home, it needs tax, which needs insurance.
  24. My mate brought his girlfriend a Honda CBR 125 a few years ago. Then after a year traded it for an RS4 125. He came to a similar conclusion. But it was the constant little problems made him sell it, and get her to do her test. I was talking to him the other day and he said the guy who brought it still loves it. But brought a Long list of parts for it since buying it.
  25. It's funny you should say that. When I sold my bike, I was paid through bank transfer. The dealer said I would transfer it to another account to be safe.
