  1. Nobody likes a show off.
  2. They were saying in one of the classic car magazines a few weeks ago, LPG is not going to be sold much in future. I think it was BP, and shell, are going to replace LPG pumps with electric charging points. https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/news/bp-starts-withdrawing-lpg-from-petrol-stations A lot of classic cars have been changed to run on LPG so a bit of a protest from classic owners.
  3. Triumph tiger 800 could be a good shout. My mate had just upgraded his after doing 121,000 miles. Been all over Europe on it in great comfort with his girlfriend on the back.

    New Bike .

It's nice when you sell a bike to someone who you know will look after and cherish it.
  5. Well done. I've one more to do this week sometime.
  6. That was to break the bead.
  7. That nail polish is very fetching. You wait till she wants to practice doing make-up.
  8. Changed a tyre!
  9. That's definitely one of your five a day.
  10. I was working overtime a few months ago. My boss let me go early as she didn't want to wait around to lock up. While I got kitted up.
  11. One of the scams they do is have the courier turn up then send you an email. It looks very official like it's from PayPal. But it's not. So you think the money has been transferred, but it's nothing to do with PayPal.
  12. I can imagine it being done with a shotgun!
  13. The last couple of sets of tyres I brought. I got them from M&P. Not the usual place I would go for tyres, but they were the cheapest. Came within a couple of days with free shipping too.
  14. I have had that with Halfords before too. I queried the price at the checkout, and they matched it. Still annoying.
  15. Yes stick to a Japanese bike if you can. Though they are not made in Japan anymore, the build quality is still much better than others. You can pick up some good kit second hand. Don't be tempted by cheap imports that are not CE approved. Have fun.
  16. Did the head stock bearings on the project scooter. Always takes longer than you think.
  17. I have the Gear-Gremlin tyre repair kit. The one thing I added was a small pair of pliers to remove what might be stuck in the tyre. This kit was highly rated on sportsbike shop so should be good.
  18. Just enjoy it for what it is. A nice cruiser type of motorcycle. At least your hero works!
  19. We are all so sensible. I too have a puncture repair kit. It makes real sense when you could be left at the side of the road waiting for a patrol for hours.
  20. Wow that's a lot of miles to lose! As a dealer they should of been aware of that and told you. Good luck.
  21. I guess there are always a few people that like the deal. But never get round to claiming the discount. So it's a win for Michelin then. The prices of everything seems to be going crazy at the moment.
  22. A lot of people don't get it. But it's nice to see a manufacturer trying something different. Perhaps this will be like the yamaha GTS. Not really appreciated till it's well out of production.
  23. Well done to the pair of them.
  24. Yes as long as you do a CBT after passing your car test, or had one when passed after 2001. You can ride a moped without doing more CBT courses. Before 2001 you get the moped licence automatically.
  25. Having new inlet rubbers makes fitting the carbs so much easier. Less likely to get an air leak too.
