  1. Lets hope its well packaged up, its toured Europe before its even worn
  2. Don't worry, I've been riding constantly for over 35yrs (and still know nowt) I currently ride a KTM. I'm scared to take my earplugs out, god only know what I'll hear.
  3. Good Evening, Well I've hung up my playing boots, last game of 11 a side football tonight, at fifty something, its time to call it a day.
  4. We've never had an issue with DPD, the info on the app is live data and works really well. We have a delivery by them every week and not had one issue, to be fair Hermes only lost one item this year. UPS on the other hand, clueless. Their app is inconsistent and you could say their customer service team is an Utterly Pointless Service.
  5. Well those pesky UPS people delivered the Heed Engine Bars today, the box was damaged and there was a slight mark on the bars (Which cant be seen once fitted) they were packed well and 80% covered with pipe insulation, so no complaints about the shipper however, those morons at UPS managed to scuff them ever so slightly, probably throwing them across the storage facility and no doubt being dropped from a great height. So in my lunch hour I touched them up and then this afternoon they were fitted. Job done and well pleased with them. I Managed to speak to the dealer and a date has been set to replace the exhaust silencer and sort out the fuel sender float thingymijig. 14th Feb, how very apt a date with KTM - wife is well pleased When I get bored I might just try and complain to UPS.
  6. To be fair they said they are trying to catch up with the large amount of work already booked in. The dealer is both Honda & KTM dealer, and we all know what them Honda's are like They are trying to recruit a Motorcycle technician by all accounts
  7. I only seem to use my rear brake when slowly and I mean slowly approaching a stop at traffic lights etc and while I'm sat there.
  8. Washed and dried both bikes and added a little more ACF50. Emailed KTM dealer wanting update on exhaust and mentioned fuel gauge in my email- I received a reply two hours later 'we have a new exhaust for you and we will sort out the fuel gauge, its likely the fuel sender float is getting stuck so when you come over we will fit your new exhaust and take care of the fault. If you give us a call we can explain and sort it out.....Result Phone call later. After the introductions we talk business - we can sort your bike - Me - 'Great, When' Dealer - 'We're booked up until Feb' Me - 'WTF' Dealer - 'Eh' Me - 'I'll give you a call Monday'
  9. I have just been for a quick ride and filled mine up with E10 and now the fuel gauge isn't registering, it has been showing the lowest of 3 bars even though the tank is full. Email sent to KTM dealer - I have read its a common fault with KTM.
  10. I left a review on Trustpilot of my antics with UPS, all of a sudden I received and email, they want me to email the tracking number and their team will get back to me. I think the customer service joker is at it again
  11. As I ride all year round, the fuel gets used in both bikes. Nice pleasant ride home this evening in 10 degrees C,
  12. I have followed your recent events at sea and trying to get home during the pandemic, on average, how long do you normally spend at sea in a year - just curious.
  13. Hermes - I'm sure the Job/person specification has somewhere along the lines of 'the ideal candidate must be good at Knock a door run'
  14. I found out my parcel is stuck at the airport - lack of pilots then It is what it is. Since I spammed the CEO I now know my parcel has been delayed at the airport, due to the large number of consignments currently being shipped. I know have an expected delivery 20th Dec, the tracking has been updated. I am still hounding customer services, just for the amusement factor as they still don't know what is going on.
  15. Honda PCX & Top box, good weather protection and would probably just have enough storage for your gear. Well if you're a slender chap
  16. Back in November I ordered some engine bars from HEED, over in Poland. I have bought engine bars from them before and found no issues with the product or shipping. As soon as the parcel was collected from the shipper by UPS I was duly notified I had to pay import charges. I coughed up straight away, expecting a quick transit and delivery - oh boy what a fiasco. The next two weeks the parcel remained in a warehouse somewhere in Poland. Each time I reached out to UPS customer service (their words), they responded with, 'contact the shipper and ask them to speak to UPS Poland', I have received the same response each time I have contacted them. UPS are totally useless, why couldn't UPS contact UPS. So I contacted HEED, they did try to help and spoke to the brokerage team in Poland on my behalf, however the parcel is with UPS and HEED cannot do much more. So after several days of media spamming, I have since found out the parcel is now at the airport, and due to the large number of packages being exported they cannot give me an expected delivery date. Each email from UPS has been patronising and to make the matter worse, I want to complain, not about the delivery fiasco but the lack of customer support and this in itself is near impossible. So all those who have not had to pay import duty and had a very successful delivery I think you have been lucky, it might not always be that way. Or it could just be that UPS are shitbags
  17. Well that's a good outcome, all things considered
  18. Something like that...I think its made by a subsidiary of an agricultural vehicle manufacturer
  19. KTM....Smooth as silk and light as a feather......well at the right RPM that is. Other than that, rough as f@@k
  20. @DuRavary Are you aware of, or come across anyone who has had issues with E10 over the years. I have noticed I'm not getting as good MPG on both bikes. Also noted KTM don't recommend Super Unleaded 98 RON.
  21. Yep I ordered direct from Heed. I received a reply from UPS, well a sarcastic attempt at empathy, basically telling me to ask Heed for help and ask them to contact UPS Poland. I have emailed UPS again explaining they have the parcel, I have paid the agent fee and import duty to them, they must resolve. I will wait a little longer before I start to spam the CEO Starting to think I could have been there and back in 4 days.
  22. Well, I've just had to email UPS for an update on my parcel (Heed Crash Bars) from Poland. Its being held in a warehouse somewhere in Poland and has been scanned every morning since ordering it November. Parcel not moving for some reason or another, yet they have a delivery date of the 6th Dec. I suppose I will just have to sit this one out and wait n see. I knew it wasn't going to be easy
  23. Which could be sometime - with this weather
  24. Keep on riding them, as my main mode of transport I've not much option. I don't mind winter riding. The cleaning afterwards keeps me busy
  25. I currently use Monimoto and Autocom. I prefer the Monimoto, although both are very similar. The sim for the Monimoto is cheaper than the autocom and cheaper than any giffguff or PAYG sim cards I can find.
