  1. Kin'ell already, you're never away from the place. All the best.
  2. Not a bad year, sad that all of my biking was in the UK and never took the chance to head over to Europe. Apart from Commuting to and from work, I think I clocked up around 7K May - was a busy month with some decent days riding: Several days around Wales & The Peak District. June - Trough of Bowland ride out. Peak District (Cat n Fiddle). Southport Carousel. Ride around the South Lakes Peninsular and a ride on the Windermere ferry and onto Kirby Lonsdale. July - A couple of local evening rides, Peak District ride (I have a 2hr route around the Peaks). Wales ride out to Barmouth. August - Southport Carousel. Bike Service in Dewsbury Sept - A week up in Scotland, Ride out to Southport Carousel. Oct - Cheshire ride out - Jodrell Bank and surrounding area. Wales twice in two days Dec - Peak District end of year ride. I need to have a word with the ride out coordinator as November was relatively quiet.
  3. Yep. I saw lots of bikes out and about around the Peak District, it was around 15 degrees and quite pleasant
  4. 148 Miles around that there Derbyshire Peak District, down past Capesthorne Hall then over the Cat n Fiddle, Buxton, Pilsley, Chatsworth Estate, Rowsley, Bakewell, Monsal Head, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Home, all on an empty tank Didn't stop to take many pictures.
  5. And following the H2, the TL1000R became the modern day Widowmaker.
  6. I recall the time when a particular 1000cc bike was the modern day take of the Widowmaker (if you know, you know)
  7. I once bought a 1979 Toyota Celica 2000 GT and then found out I couldn't afford the insurance.
  8. It just goes to show what I've known all along. I don't understand the world of insurance .
  9. I thought I miss read it. Your Insurance might bring the reality back. Do you have any quotes for the bikes you would like.
  10. And its only Monday Have fun
  11. Nice one I'll have to have a word with myself and get something sorted.
  12. Just opened by best gift. A Beanie Brite bob hat, with integral USB for recharging the light.
  13. I can see how they did it too, perhaps by not paying attention and little knowledge of road markings and probably the highway code too
  14. Apologies for the bad language and weedy motorcycle horn
  15. That's an ace gift.
  16. We get a nice Christmas Hamper and each year I give it to my elderly neighbour.
  17. I thought about getting some Denali D4 Lights, but the Stock Headlight on the KTM is good enough for now. I would imagine fitting auxiliary lights would be a good option, rather than changing the headlight
  18. Is that street lighting you're referring to, or just the Ducati lighting
  19. Yeah. The lights on the Katoom are ace, I first thought the cornering lights were a gimmick, but boy, they do make a big difference and light up the road well.
  20. Many moons ago we used to go on a Boxing Day ride out and either a New Years eve ride out or New Years day ride out. I Don't hear or see many of these taking place anymore.
  21. just the odd glass eh
  22. Whoop Whoop
  23. I would be Interested to see what you think of the Pirelli's, mine are goosed at 6K. I might try the Dunlop Mutants. (Although we used to call Dunlops many years ago 'Dunlop ditch finders' I'm sure they've come along way since
  24. The Mrs Loves buying all the presents and organising food and drinks. As for me, I don't want for presents, never have done. As long as I see the kids enjoy it and I can see they're happy and having fun, I'm content with a glass of Malt.
