  1. I fitted new spark plugs, air filter, sprockets and chain yesterday. The air filter looks as though it's never been changed . After I had finished, I started it up with choke and left it running for a minute or two. When I took the choke off after it had warmed up, it ran fine for a while then slowed to a stall. Started it up again, I revved it a few times and it sounded fine, then a few more times and it sounded as though it was cutting out in the 3-5k range. My thoughts are fuelling (or carb setting mess up by new air filter?) Any thoughts?
  2. The one I got is a Sealey AK624, Torque range is 20 - 150lb.ft 27.1 - 203.5Nm

    Torque wrench

Just bought a torque wrench and chain breaker off fleabay, brand name Sealey, anyone heard of them? any good? Was quite cheap, so not expecting the best quality
  6. You probably just needed a longer wrench / more leverage
  7. I've just ordered a torque wrench so I can fit my new chain and sprocket set, a cheap one off ebay at about £20, hope it doesn't bend while Im fitting the new sprocket lmao. BTW, has anyone heard of a brand named Sealey?
  8. I found it easier as I dont have to perform tricks on request , riding I enjoy and can do, which made it less stressful
  9. That's what it's there for! to make your presence known. I'd only use it when appropriate though (kid running out etc) and just a short pip should be enough. I found it easier than Mod1 tbh, exaggerate your lifesavers and mirror checks to make it obvious that you're checking (but only do it when you need to, otherwise it'll like you're doing it randomly )
  10. Grats for passing! Edit your signature in your profile User control panel ->Profile -> Edit signature
  11. I cleaned my bike yesterday including my chain, degreased and relubed after tightening it. When spinning the wheel it was fine until a point, then got very stiff for a few cm of a revolution then spun freely again, I think it's just 1 link that seems to be stiff. New chain and sprocket time? or is there some way to fix it?
  12. My bandit is 11 years old, So far I haven't had to replace anything (save oil and other consumables)
  13. Can anyone recommend a decent ground anchor (cheaper the better)? I have an inspection pit in my garage that will be filled in with concrete at some point so I can either get a ground anchor that is concreted in or one that you drill holes for. Should ideally fold flat, don't want to be running over a protruding loop, don't think my tyres would appreciate it
  14. god damn they're rusty, Im sure you could get some from a breaker?
  15. I cant imagine why not, but it depends on the output of the battery, the power consumption of the grips and how much power a 125 alternator generates to charge the battery.
  16. It would seem that Light bike is restricted to 125cc, standard being 33bhp for 2 years, and big unrestricted, thats the only way it could be, given the options
  17. Maybe your clutch cable has been stretched beyond use?
  18. Think Push left to go left, push right to go right rather than which way the bars are turning
  19. You might get some interest on ebay for them, I dont know of anyone with a BMW bike on here off the top of my head
  20. dont think you'd get much for it, looks quite corroded
  21. Fuel starvation? might have crap in your carbs
