5 notices of impending prosecution in the post
MikeHorton replied to James in Brum's topic in General Chat
With all the new bus lanes coming in on the a38 I don't think 40 will be possible now. I work in bournville and the 40 bit there is now a 30. -

Not patting anyone on the back. Its just important to have a right to a fair trial, fundentals of British law. I'm sure James has punished himself and he's not been doing this for years sounds like a bad week. And from one who has a mental health complaint which rears its head every now and again we all have the odd wobble. I have a speed awareness course about 5 years ago and it sunk in for me and I think made me aore thoughtful driver. Doesn't work for everyone not everyone is wired up the same and some have no morals others do learn and don't make the same mistakes again -

Sorry to hear that James, looks like you have it all in hand though. I'm sure your solicitor will advise you well. Guilty plea and loads of mitigation should help you avoid a ban. Its not as though you have been speeding over a period of months or years. As you say one stressful week and the courts do listen to that side of things, doing the speed awareness shows responsibility too. Good luck with it all, not much to smile about in 2020 -
I'll have to take a look but it's certainly powerful enough and not too much so that it's likely to cause any damage bargain for £45 with 3 different nozzles

Did they just dig the wheels out of a parts bin? Change the colour of the wheels and may work then

As discussed the other day I'll auction on here one of my razor sets. I'll round the winning bid up to the nearest tenner and pay the postage for the set and post proof of the charity payment on here. My wife is waiting for her thyroid cancer operation. I thought I'd try and do something constructive. This set is great quality with all you need to shave. No pressure just post a bid and hopefully bag a bargain. I'll keep it running until midnight Tuesday the 24th. See the pic below for all that is included and feel free to ask any questions.

Waiting for the Op it's the 8th of Dec so not bad considering only had the diagnosis on Tuesday. Unfortunately we are number 9 on the covid hotlist so just hoping people stop in and stop getting covid we don't really want a delay on the op.

Morning, my first day of working from home today I wonder how long before I start going nuts!!!!! Is there any objection to me posting on the site somewhere a non bike sale item for charity. We're waiting for my wife's cancer op and I'm sat at home being useless and just want to raise some funds for cancer research UK. I sell gents traditional razor sets and would like to auction one on here I'll pay the postage for whoever gets it and round the cash up to the nearest tenner

I heard that on the radio - apparently we'd get 3000 "free" miles before we have to cough up. Option B is public transport. It would take 3 hours to get to work instead of 30 mins in the car. The first bus is 7:15, last bus is 17:22. Four hour days for me then! Yes the public transport issue needs sorting for anything else to work. I work shifts so can't use it but would if I could. Friends live in Czech Republic trams, buses and underground run till late and work

Good morning, saw this article which looks interesting.... https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/nov/16/bsa-electric-bike-motorcycles-uk As they are owned by Mahindra stands a chance of something positive happening, their Jawas look good and their new models are soon to be relaunched in europe

that looks good. does your chain last long, O rings etc? I must admit, the video did suggest these are mostly a gimmick but some do a good job. However, speaking with life long riders I keep hearing the same thing about not cleaning often, lubing up regular etc. The did chain manual does say it all. The only thing with gear oil is doesnt it fling all over? i dont want to spend around £10 to clean and lube the chain every 200/300 miles.. (cleaner £8, lube £10) cheers So far so good and I don't clean it that often when I do I run paraffin through the cleaner and as others just use gear oil after

Depends which 'gunk' you're referring to. If you spray ACF50 everywhere and leave it on all winter it will certainly help combat corrosion. My issue is we live near a salt mine so the bike gets covered in salt every day hence I wash it down. But for none salt grime ACF50 will do the job. As with any inhibitor the main main stage of preparation is having a DRY surface to add it to .. No point trapping moisture in I have a £40 pet drier which is great in the winter for drying the bike off prior to winter treatment and as you say alway better to put it away dry

I use one of these in the winter with some. Paraffin and does a good job to get any ground in crud off https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/artikel/kettenmax-louis-edition-chain-clean-lube-device/10003114

Remembering the fallen and all those that have made sacrifices for us all past and present. Now off for a late shift then I'll raise a glass to them all when I get home. Days like this make you think how lucky we all are!

Great pastime, how much honey do you manage to produce a season?
