  1. I'd second the ice hockey idea. It's the only decent sport Americans play I love watching it when I travel I the Czech republic
  2. It is a great bike a fantastic engine. Glad you got chance to get out on it
  3. Do you have legal cover if so cont'd act them especially if your medical condition contributed to the error. Wish you all the best
  4. V popular boots with the police they do last for ages
  5. Well no moral dilemma for me, £24 from china, as the only problem I had with my Scott oilier was the nozzle blocking occasionally, a pressurised system seemed the way to go... Chain with Scotoiler lasted 20k+ without less than 10k I am pro chain oilliers, will be interesting to see how I get on with this one... Having used one before I am aware they are not a complete solution, I still had to oil and clean the chain occasionally. Just if using bike daily it reduced the requirement considerably. You may find hem a little cheaper on Ali express too around 18 quid

I'm also ordering one of these I was contemplating a cobrra already and this will save a few pennies!
  7. I've had my licence for years it was far simpler then to get it done. My advice would be to co tact a good local motorcycle training company. Take a look at some reviews and make a call. If you can afford it I would go for the test it will improve your skills for sure. I'm in the process of doing my IAM bike I've done it for 4 wheels and want to do it for 2 to make me safer and more up skilled and to reduce my insurance costs. Good luck with whatever you chose to do
  8. If you have a steam cleaner steam clean the lining that may kill any smells
  9. Yes it's one bit of the bike you need to keep in top of. Check the slack, clean and lubricate. Paraffin can be a cheap cleaner to keep ur costs down
  10. Looks fresh out of the showroom!
  11. Yes big cities seem to be more bike friendly. I find city drivers are more aware of bikes too. When I worked in Tipton people didn't like me filtering through seems more accepted in cities than towns
  12. Some bits of the hagley road changed a year or so back Its cycle taxi and bus only but most in the city ur right are fine. I'm working in Bournville but will be moving to Aston soon not such fun commuting
  13. I use the muc off extreme luge in the winter it's a dry lube and I've found it the best so stick with it and buy it when it's on offer. In the summer I use any wet lube I think I have some wd40 stuff which has been fine but im not too fussy with what to use in the summer just a wet lube. I ride my bike all year round and have had no issues with the muc off stuff does a great job no corrosion on my chain.
  14. Well done on passing I'm sure ur over the moon. Certainly test rides are a must, this was when after shortlisting like you did I knew which bike was for me. I cc an only come t on the mt09, I went for the tracer 900gt. It fitted the bill and the extras I got with the gt I thought were great value. I've had mine since July and put over 4k miles on it in all weather with no issues. It's a really flexible engine and for a bigger bike still offers great fuel economy, it's more than happy to be ridden like a commuter in low revs, long distance touring and being opened up for some fun riding. See which bike you like best, work out the running costs and insurance etc and go for it.
  15. Try chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.co.uk they are normally a good go to company
  16. My old GP was Dr Watt he should have worked there
  17. Max out the refillable hot drinks it's a must!
  18. Mine a bit boring. Started tonight with cleaning, stripping down and oiling up a concept 2 rower I've just bought it was a real steal. A relaxing evening with a single malt, wetherspoons breakfast tomorrow followed by a bit of whatever happens and a 40th bday party on the evening. Supposedly an iam observed ride on sunday but I'm not feeling the weather will be in my favour!
  19. Looks a great bit of kit. Seems a good company and the rental idea is a sure way of trying before you buy. Its good to get stuff by recommendation
  20. A nice little honda grom for the PM?
  21. Looked at my bike whilst I claybarred, polished and waxed my hand me down car from the wife. To say it's been neglected is an understatement but for a 9yr old car it's now looking great nice glassy finish on the paintwork now. 1st time I've used a claybar not gimmicky a v good product!
  22. It's a real shame I'd have liked to have seen the atlases going into production the first affordable Norton in many years. I hope something happens to rescue the brand
  23. It's a beauty good luck I'm sure it will sell with no problems
  24. I've got the manflu too but dragged myself into work yesterday for overtime ohhow I regretted that! Jetwashed the old deals drive today etc. Yes daytime TV isn't great I try to avoid watching it or load up some recorded programs on the sky box. Hope it feeling better, try echinacea tablets I was recommended them by my gp take them on and off over the winter period and have a lot less colds etc my first and hopefully last of the winter !
  25. the adage that chinse bikes = bad is starting to become obselete. Mainly because UK importers are waking up to the need for chinese bikes to be fit for UK weather. that said the qaulity of a lexmoto is poorer no doubt, mine is rusting like a rusty thing from rustville with a bad case of rustitess. that said if you are prepared to maintain often than the important parts such as frame, wheels, brakes, engine electrics are faultless imo. its the sundries that rot... Take a look at kymco they used to build parts for Honda then BMW they make some nice small capacity machines
