  1. Hahahaha You can buy Akrapovic stickers What do you reckon?
  2. I’ve been listening to the ‘ Dark Net Diaries ‘ Pod cast - as far as scams go, it seems that crypto currency’s not only enable a huge amount of scams but are also responsible for them.

    Sadly without the legacy
  4. You jammy sod.. that’s a great bike, not just a great 1st bike, see above for choke advice

    Love This

‘‘Twas my 60th yesterday & as part of my prezzie my lads commissioned this caricature of me I absolutely love it, an A3 print is on the post.
  6. Here it is, https://www.hoar-park.co.uk/ Probably best to wait for a dry day or you’ll end up as Mississippi no mates
  7. Plus the smell of booze on their breath & nicotine stained fingers.
  8. Lovely dry & crisp morning - rode to Cinders, lots of bikes I reckon on about 50 - 60
  9. Plus a rabid Rottweiler tethered to the seat …. Can sell you my ex for the job if you’d like
  10. Depends if they think it’s worth nicking having looked under the cover.
  11. Maybe, but I wouldn’t want to put any extra stress on the cam chain.
  12. Yep, Sprint Manufacturing
  13. New BMW S1000RR ?
  14. The newly announced updated MT10?
  15. A huge pink Unicorn Dildo? Am I close?
  16. C’mon you tease .. WTF is it ?
  17. T.14 mark on the Ignition rotor aligned with the centre of the pick up coil. Cam shafts placed with cam chain over them & arrows on the sprockets pointing inwards Cam shims and journals oiled, Cam caps oiled, fixings oiled & hand tightened to just nipped up then torqued up to 10 N/M in a cross cross pattern - this is not a lot & I could have easily over tightened by hand. I believe @fastbob has previously stated that this is a critical time to use a torque wrench. Chain tensioner to be fitted … @onesea said the spring should be replaced as it’s a weak point - Spec says it should be 73.5mm long. I resisted the urge to stretch it So new spring to be ordered - thus ends play until it arrives.
  18. I find leaving them be & thus preventing Mrs Mickly from entering the garage is the best policy 🕸🕷
  19. How about something like this? FEIN 31345119010 Kabelhalter Cable Holder, Black, Size https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01LBBMG8U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Q8W6G2T1ZHYXVR35D2AH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  20. I sealed my garage concrete floor with PVA & then painted with Wickes garage floor paint - 2 years later it was flaking off !!
  21. Right, back on track. Managed to get the dowels sorted & the cyl head sitting flat ( without the liners or gasket in place ) Good job I removed the head as I realised that I’d omitted to fit this: fixed cam chain guide .. whoops. Smaller beads of sealant added to the liners & head refitted. The gaps either side of the head are now satisfactory with no way of squeezing the smallest of feeler gauges in. Now to fit the cam shafts.
  22. Now, I understand that I could have avoided this if I had switched my phone off but….. The couple of quiet minutes at 11:00 today to reflect on those who served and fell was interrupted by the pinging of txts from Dominoes & Hermes, FFS can’t these tw*ts put a moratorium on messages for just 2 minutes
  23. I also made loads & hung them from the ceiling, when I got a bit older I hung them from a tree in our back garden and shot them with an air rifle from my bedroom window.
  24. Rode it to the Cinderella club, surprisingly high number of bikes considering that it was drizzly and slippery under foot Mates Bitza
  25. Really pertinent topic for me. I absolutely love my ancient Arai Quantum, but it’s now 10 years old & needs replacing and I’m considering a flip front lid, especially as now I have to wear glasses when riding.
