Fantastic! Well done -
I really thought people knew better than to use gay as a pejorative term these days. Obviously not. Not cool dude! Not cool at all! not me Snowflake Okay, you don’t yet. Have a watch of this, it does a reasonable job of explaining why it is not cool. ">

I’d like to go if I can make it work. Might have to dig out my good frock

"> A serious subject and all that. It detracting from the importance of looking after your hearing.

Maybe be less supercilious and condescending about it.

Hop it all goes smoothly and it’s just easy overtime in a warmer place.

Awful English in one of my posts. Apologies, been on duty with the kids a few nights on the trot. Delirious from Tiredness I think Had a night’s sleep now.

Same reason for my checking it out. My professional training and provoked in me the ‘yes but is that true’ response a lot. I attended a multi-agency gang meeting thing not long ago and had to remind myself that just because I was hearing a lot about gangs did not mean that the whole of Brum is unsafe for my kids. Kept saying to myself you did not hear about it in Essex because you did not go to these meetings!

I appreciate the concern and the advice. I will look into something more suitable. What I meant by the mechanics of it are I could imagine if the toe of the boot was bent backwards the end of the steel cap could guillotine the toes of bent back enough. I just could not imagine that happening in an accident.

Is that a thing? Someone said it once but I couldn’t imagine the mechanics of it.

Commission for Un-english Nuance and Terminology Ok, its a parody of the Un American Activities Commission. And its English not english . AND I've got it completely wrong anyway, it's COMMITTEE. I was going for crude acronyms -
Just worked something out. So far I am less than a pound a mile cost to me and the more I use it particularly for work the more I get more miles to less pounds.

Cannot remember if I responded. Lexmoto Falcon 125 cc £2000 otr Cbt £120 I think Textile Jacket and trouser from EBay <£100 Helmet ~ £50 Gloves for summer -£15 Gloves for Winter £20 I already had and use some other gloves that work as liners, a thin balaclava, warm and waterproof coats and trousers to use with the cheap stuff from eBay. I also had a pair of steal toecap docs from 20 years ago that I wear including as work shoes when I arrive. I have done about 1500 work miles so been paid back about £750 in expenses, after the petrol costs that would be about £650 and my insurance was about £400 I think.

Oh, thanks. I should say that, had I been able to use the editing app, some of this footage would have been cut out. Sadly iMovie doesn't seem to be able to work on my computer due to the graphics card! Strange for a Macbook Pro that's just a few years old Very strange, iMovie works on mine and it is a 2012 MacBook Pro. -

Nope a dap bag is a small drawstring bag containing only your daps (and sometimes a t-shirt/vest. Perhaps is was just a West Country poverty thing to do PE in your pants and a vest?! No-one had PE kit til junior school I had a dap bag in Gloucester. Never worked out if Gloucester counts as West Country, south midlands. Or what. Pe in infants was definitely pants and vest and Daps. I grew up calling them daps, plimpsoles and pumps. Judging by the "Gloucester" calls coming from 'The Shed' at Kingsholm, I'd say it's West Country GLAAWWWWSSSTTEEERRRRRRR
