  1. You could have some decent bench press with it
  2. Much better now you can see the bike. That oem is ridiculously big.
  3. I didn’t think but there is a lot of shortening on the YouTube
  4. That’s perfect new tyre, nothing strange on it. I am happy with mine and it look shit in compare with your tyre. Front edge rounded, back edge sharp. Little to correct on this new active, semi active suspension
  5. initially when in a corner it felt like the back was bobbing or jumping into position. its hard to put into words lol. Looking more at the tyre the edge of the tread is raised, not sure if thats the leading edge or not. But its never changed since getting the bike. I have active suspension and it is the same. Front edge will always be rounded and lower than back edge that will be higher and sharp.
  6. Did one training years ago in Croatia, it’s run by ex racer, you don’t need a high speed to lean over, we did pretty badass leans with not more than 5 ml/h. Yes it’s all safe with lot of safety features . Not my videos
  7. There is no problem if don’t bother you. Basically is not recommended because of possible different tyre characteristics and bike behaviour. Front is equally important as rear, when entering corners, you loading front tyre and you depend on it. Lot of accidents are caused by bad front tyre. Not only cornering but also breaking, majority of motorcycle breaking is done by front brake (for most of us), don’t underestimate importance of front tyre. But if you are happy with your front no reason to change it. Make sure they both have similar performance wet and dry, same time need to warm up and it’s ok. If you are not fast rider than doesn’t matter at all.
  8. That rear is pretty much squared, it will resist to lean in the corner at first then will suddenly drop. If you are aware of it and prepared especially if you are comfy with that no issues. If not get new tyre.
  9. Idiot cop and stupid rider, perfect combination.
  10. Wash it properly after euro trip, removed all plastic that I know how to. After hours of washing spray it with xcp, just for fun, changed oil and oil filter. Filled up MY fridge with beer and wine to support future activities.
  11. My new preferred chain lube, Still using motul chain paste for long trips, but this is the everyday #1 choice, applied with grease ninja.
  12. Linseed oil will probably do the business
  13. Slight off track from the op but: I'm on the other end of the tyre's life. Riding in the monsoon conditions on Thursday reinforced the thought that my back tyre was due to be replaced. It was definitely squirrelly on some bends and roundabouts. Nothing like the buttock clenching moment when the back end slides a bit. So I am now mulling over whether to replace with OEM Pirelli Scorpions in which case I'll only do the rear or do both and switch to Metzler. Hmm. Ideally if you change to different tyres , you should change them both. But honestly I had different front and rear and didn’t feel such difference. Maybe some more expert riders will. Still for peace of mind I prefer same tyre on both sides.
  14. Fantastic job

Who knows what weather will be early October, I will be back from ship around that time, if weather stays ok I will do it.
  16. Honestly I wasn’t happy and impressed by uk border control. Crossing Eu without hassle and checks, on return to uk, treated as criminal. They were polite and ok, but still, just cavity check didn’t happen.
  17. I don’t know if I did pick something or not, in any case most affected country in Eu is uk. So there is the more chance to get it here than somewhere in Eu at the moment. Every time you get out of hose to shops or petrol station you are at risk. Think you may have misinterpreted my attempt at Humour referencing that Customs would place you in a Dry toilet and gloved hands be parting your cheeks conducting a cavity search It wasn’t far from that, they checked all my luggage (just by fortune they didn’t realise all dry meat and cheese I got). I had to take off my jacket they check it, i was ready to lower my pants, fortunately didn’t happen. They cross check all my details I reported in electronic form, asked me “trick questions “ They checked bike and papers, Wasn’t easy border crossing
  18. I was crossing Austria, no one asked nothing, in any case you can stay close in southern Germany or Slovenia, it is short ride to Austria. From any corner is one day ride.
  19. Yes all is ok, I was out of country, job related but as well I use it for pleasure as well thankfully. So as per new rules I have to self isolate as prevention. If I got something during my trip it will eventually came out in week or two Hmmmm should customs be informed that your waiting for something to come out that you picked up on your trip abroad By the way prior to entry uk you have to submit online form, so yes customs are informed about my travel. If I’m sick only time will show. That’s why I am I’m in self isolation

  21. I really hope all will flat out by September, hope to se some good ride report with some pics,
  22. I don’t know, but other day french main man said on tv that quarantine for British citizens who are not just transit France will stay as long uk has quarantine for Eu citizens coming into the uk. It was just 2-3 days ago. I am f...ed now with quarantine, and as soon this 14 days are over will have to go back to ship for another 14 days restrained in the cabin. Hope at least uk will change that requirement. All over the Europe, at least on the motorways all people are required to wear face masks in the shops. Here in uk not so much. But also in Croatia that is now open for tourists no masks and no social distancing at all. Looks like call for disaster
