Exactly that, plus just right preplan where and how to park yo-yo bike. Also it is not just the length of the stand but angle.

It is useless to try to explain advantages of the satnav to people who never used them or who don’t travel. To travel I meant at least across the Europe. Yes we did it before by using paper road maps (I still have them somewhere), and paper and pen to create the road book. And we did I’d found our way around. If you are going just few hundred of miles around your house than phone is ok, but to plan your trip across the Eu or further than you need satnav or paper maps + road book. Simple as that

I checked that Lidl charger, but I didn’t like it, as instruction says that battery have to be disconnected from car of motorcycle before connecting to the charger. Don’t work for me.

Something went wrong with previous post, Check on Ctek web page they have variety of chargers, tenders, not cheep but it works for me and my bike spend half year in hibernation.

People often assume that riding the bike will keep the battery fully charged. It doesn't, charging systems replace the charge used to start the engine but if the battery was low to begin with it doesn't get fully recharged just by riding it. At this time of year batteries have a hard life, cold doesn't do them any favours. On small engined bikes with smaller batteries the charging system often runs the current used by lights etc but doesn't put a lot back into the battery so they run most of the time only partially charged. A multimeter is a cheap tool and one that is essential. Check the battery voltage after it's been left overnight. You're looking for over 12.5v. Anything 12.3 or under and the battery is almost discharged. Check on Ctek web page, they have variety of chargers/tenders, not cheep but it work, my batteries last for years, and my bike is in hibernation half of the year. A battery below 12v won't take a charge usually. You can 'prime' them by charging at very low input current - around 500Ma or less. A plug in gel cell charger does the trick nicely. Once back above 12v they will then take a conventional charge. What you say about batteries is very interesting and you clearly know what you are talking about. Could you post a couple of examples of the "Gel cell charger" you use or the spec for it. Cheers Ian

Combination needing to upsize the house and paying for a wedding! Hopefully it’s only a few years before I’m back and can get myself a street triple... Weddings are a massive waste of money! Houses are good though. Yes it is especially if you include divorce than it goes sky high -
Don’t think it will be so much snow in September, I was there last September and it was just on the top. Still fantastic views and beautifully rides

Do not mix new with old if not necessary. Just drain it and pour new one. Just check if is 100% antifreeze or already pre mixed. Bikes usually have 3 to 4 litres of coolant.

I can recommend Zell am see, especially That camp by the lake, We were there last summer 3 days and it’s perfect. There is another camp on the other side bit away from the lake but with fantastic views.

Oh you can totally kill Americans too. Straight up got a law around here called the "Make My Day" law, says you can shoot each other all you like. Or something to that effect. My green card says something about "provisional licence to kill" in the small print, I swear. With no offence to Americans, I lived and worked there for over 6 years and I know lot about it. Unfortunately their country and politics make them believe they are something special, above The ordinary people.

I don’t want to think about insurances as my blood start boiling. Yes that is stupidity to increase my premium if I was hit by other driver and no blame on me, as well in that case other driver insurance is about to pay so it is just legalised blood sucking. I understand your fury Rich, my first quote was 17000

Americans have licence to kill all around the world as long they don’t kill Americans. Their country will protect them. The Cavalese cable car disaster of 1998, also called the Strage del Cermis ("Massacre at Cermis") occurred on 3 February 1998, near the Italian town of Cavalese, a ski resort in the Dolomites some 40 km (25 mi) northeast of Trento. Twenty people died when a United States Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler aircraft, while flying too low, against regulations, in order for the pilots to "have fun" and "take videos of the scenery", cut a cable supporting a gondola of an aerial tramway. Joseph Schweitzer, one of the two American pilots, confessed in 2012 that he had burned the tape containing incriminating evidence upon returning to the American base. The pilot, Captain Richard J. Ashby, and his navigator, Captain Joseph Schweitzer, were put on trial in the U.S. and found not guilty of involuntary manslaughter and negligent homicide. Later they were found guilty of obstruction of justice and conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman for having destroyed a videotape recorded from the plane, and were dismissed from the Marine Corps.

Do you think the law should change to tackle thieves and idiots?

In the times of Benito Mussolini and fascists in Italy, mafia was almost completely disappeared. And not only the mafia but criminal as well. Now question is can we benefit from people and system like that. Country needs education, it is long and painful process to minimise chavism (don’t know if that is the word), and criminal. We don’t need to look over the ocean (Usa), there is no nothing good for us. We should look east to Sweden, Denmark, Germany. Or we have to learn to live with what we got. -
M60W nr Stretford this morning, were you riding at my rear door pillar?

He will learn maybe after having accident and spending week or two in the hospital. Unfortunately he can take someone with him as company. -

Blood suckers, vampires, that’s what insurances are. It is legalised crime. I know as my brother wife is one of those people who sells insurance.
