go on the mountain it's brilliant but pick your days it can be cold and wet , i used to marshal up there -
if you want 100% waterproof get yourself down to a builders supply they stock clothing for people who work out all day in the pouring rain

i have an xt 225 yam serow and i have had it for several years and been to the iom many times on it a brilliant bike -

in 1981 i bought a new xj 550 yam and shortly after i got it i noticed every morning going to work that it was getting harder to get into gear and finally one morning i set off and it wouldnt change up or down so the bike shop picked it up and they said that the clutch bearings had fallen apart , i was still running it in and only done 800 miles
