Summer gear on a budget
fullscreenaging replied to NewBob's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I don’t know what size you are NewBob, but I have a 2 piece leather suit for sale. The jacket has removable arm & side panels that reveal mesh material. Bloody lovely through the summer months https://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=66717 -

St Nicholas Church. You can just about see the name on the announcement board! Mount Pleasant Mill. The place is closed for renovation work by the look of it. You can see a sail on the floor. Market Rasen Race Course Caldwell Park. The Honda BSB guys were supposed to be testing today. It had been cancelled and the place was deserted The Raiway Tavern (Pub) Cleethorpes Light Railway One not in the challenge but thought it would be good to stick up. -
Size - XS - 53-54cm Excellent condition. One of the lightest lids on the market at 1250g. Boxed. Dark visor, (not for road us) with pin lock insert installed Clear & Smoke visors both pinlock ready. Clear visor has pinlock installed. Carry/Protective soft bag. Booklet with spare screws and pin lock gubbins. Chin guard is cracked due to taking on and off. This is the second guard I've had. 1st one did the same so I got another and tried to be careful but it looks like this could just be a bad design. Original box. £90 delivered by tracked post.

Hazard perception test

Agree with above comments. You’ll soon get used to the bike and the power. Just take it easy at first. Get on a bike safe course and then a couple of track days and just be sensible. NEVER ride out of your comfort zone. Don’t worry about how quick everyone else is etc. The joy of biking is getting the twisties right. Anyone can go fast in a straight line, but nailing the bends is a great feeling. It takes a bit of training your brain’s basic instincs to get the bends right at speed. Have a look at Keith Code’s Twist of the wrist 2 on YouTube. Also look up giroscopic procession clips. You could even look up your local IAM or ROSPA group if you extra training. -
Don’t have this issue on other forums tbh. Not tried another browser. Just putting up with it

Good news! One step closer to achieving your goal. If you think you've got a big smile on your face, wait till you get on the road with your first bike! Talking of bikes. Has anything taken your fancy? -
Sounds like a great trip! One that I'm sure you will remember for a long time. Well until the next one I assume the weather stayed on your side?

This is scary! Luckily she didn’t injure anyone. If she hadn’t have ended the way she did, she may have got away with this. Which begs the question. How many do get away with it on a daily basis? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/drunk-driver-sussex-caught-own-dashcam-louise-willard-a8324601.html

Not worn this suit for a few years so it’s been hanging in the cupboard. The jacket is much loved. It has a removable thermal liner and zip off arm and side panels that reveals the mesh material so is great for the summer. One of the panels is frayed along the seem. The pants have replaced and have only been worn about 10/15 times. They have Velcro adjustable straps. This suit would be great if you’re just getting into biking and are looking for cheap used gear. The jacket is a size 40. It’s a pretty good fit so someone with a 40-42 inch chest. The pants are a 32” and again are a pretty good fit. I want £50 this includes posting by a tracked service to anywhere in the UK

You can make a complaint about your test here https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/driver-and-vehicle-standards-agency/about/complaints-procedure The best outcome you will achieve is a free retest. -
I’ve recenty had my bike serviced. I did the oil & filter myself and checked everything was torqued up and no leaks. Had the same as you on the patio. Knee jerk reaction was, shit! Oil leak. On closer inspection I could see it was coming from the front sprocket and dripping down. I don’t know what the dealer has used, but they’ve lathered the chain in it. It’s flung all over the right hand side of my bike!!

Except for the 2nd race

No worries Stu I’ve tried something different also... Instead of using the phones memory of my username and password, I’ve entered them manually. Let’s see if that works. If not I’ll try another browser for TMBF

Nice pic! Very brave to be out in that lot.

It’s the locking mechanism. Is there somewhere to put a key on the outside of the box? I’m guessing you don’t have a/the key?
-
The knob head who was too lazy to put a screw in the bin that ended up in my car tyre!! Need to go and plug it after my cuppa.

I’ve never seen a top box screwed to a plate before. Looks proper butchered. Do you have the key for the box? I think the key might release the box. Just a guess though
