  1. It could also mean you love the Adrenalin rush that riding a bike gives you and you are addicted to it You are a speed jumkie and you’re just gonna have to suck it up and get those skills improved
  2. Any time I can get out.
  3. I will be watching it on my phone while at work
  4. My best mate when I was 14 left school (he was 16) and got an AR50. He taught me to ride it. Then when I was 18 me and a few mates used to mess around on another mate’s KMX125 at a local place that was like a small wood with a bridal path splitting it down the middle. It had a load of jumps and small valleys and even a reasonably small what could be described as cliff out of the mud. At the bottom it levelled out smoothly enough that we could either drop down the vertical wall or vice verse. You could even ride it from side to side just like the wall of death. So that’s what it was called. We had some great times down there until the guy that owned it fell off and broke it. I didn’t touch a bike again until I was 36. Did my CBT & DAS.
  5. No problem There is an Easter Egg in my photos for you, but it’s very hard to see. I know it’s there and even I found it hard to spot. Keep an eye out for further photos of mine. I’ll try and make sure it’s clearer.
  6. I'm off the mark today. Willingham Woods (honest) Nothing on the building to suggest though.
  7. I got out for a few hours today. Give it another month and Willingham Woods will not look like this
  8. I’ve used Principle for my car and bike on and off for the last 4 years. I’ve either been with Principle or Hastings Direct. I’ve never had to actually use them so I don’t know how good they are when you need them though.
  9. You saw it here first
  10. Brookes Mackenzie Ray
  11. Rea Davies Haslam
  12. I’ve used the V2 Sponge for years. Small enough to go under your seat or even in your inside pocket. They last a good while before they get too flat from use. Usually a season or two. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/212517?r=GS&gclid=CjwKCAiAqOriBRAfEiwAEb9oXbvaLJHkPpm0dDCTCijRD31cWwiJW1kmGJPqP6z2nLzQIo4rw2sBrRoCi_gQAvD_BwE
  13. I gone back to Hasting Direct for £180 fully comp this year. I’m still with Principle until 1st March but Hastings came out £12 cheaper than Principle on the old Meerkat site. That and Hasting do a non insured driver guarantee. 90 day European cover and helmet & leather insurance up to £750. £250 compulsory excess. Not bad being middle aged. I’ll just ring Principle up when my inflated renewal lands in the post and tell them I won’t be staying and ask them to either send my NCD to me or Hastings.
  14. They were the best scrapers!
  15. Went to the Bahamas in my late 20’s. Hired a focus from Enterpise to get to Gatwick. On the return trip landed back at Gatwick and arrived at the Enterprise desk. “We have no medium sized cars available so are upgrading you to the next size up free of charge. You have the option of paying and extra £1.30 for insurance purposes or staying as you are” “So what vehicle do I need to pay the extra insurance for?” “A Mondeo ST 24” “Wooohooo” was the sound made while travelling most of the way home I took it to the fastest I’ve driven in a car. An indicated 150. It was still going, but I’d drifted from the inside lane to the outside on the bend of a dual carriageway, so I lifted off. While on the North bound M25 we saw Frank Bruno on the hard shoulder stood next to his broken down Jag
  16. Loud speaker...
  17. You use the money from the sale to clear the finance. You let the buyer know it’s on finance and pay the finance company while you have the buyer with you. The company will let you know as soon as they have the money and the new buyer can ride off with confidence the bike is no longer under finance.
  18. but how often do you use 1st on a race bike ? pulling away and that's about it You still have to click the gear lever ↑ to go ↓ though.
  19. It’s only 1 ↓ and 5 ↑ on road bikes. On race bikes it’s 1↑ and 5↓ Just to mess with your head
  20. You’ve also got to think about whether the tyres in the bike at the minute are legal also. The minimum tread depth for a motorcycle tyres is 1mm across 3/4 of the tyre. I would seriously not let my tyres get below 2-3mm if I was riding through the winter and the wet weather. It’s sounds like you have had a few close calls already and I’m sure you don’t want to be coming off because your tyres are that bad. Not only that if your tyres are no longer legal and you do have an accident then your insurance could be invalid and then you’ll be in a world of financial pain at the very least.... I would get some new ones if you’re riding through the bad weather asap Here is some info on tyres https://www.tyresafe.org/tyre-safety/motorbike-tyre-safety/tyre-maintenance/
  21. I’m using my phone and the link to all locations is not working correctly for me It opens up google maps but there are no locations at all. Only my current position. Any ideas? EDIT: Sorted. I had to open it up in a new tab. This then stopped the google maps app opening.
  22. I have some Specsavers vouchers
