1. Well solo rides aren't banned, so in theory we could just take a long way round to work/home to enjoy some of this nice weather that is coming round the bend.
2. Well, Mr Zango is also not very upfront on what currency the money will be transferring from, we can't naturally assume it's going to be in Pound Sterling!
3. Or an option where it's a "No just now but eventually a potential Yes" I'm fine though, I voted No.... for now. Edit: Oh! It seems we can change our vote by submitting it again.
4. Wooo! Well done Spongefinger
5. Now that's a top tip! Best to read the fine prints folk. Thanks Mississippi Bullfrog for this info!
6. Utter gutter! Can't believe they have cancelled the race but I guess it is safety first for all the racers, crew and audience I suppose.
7. I've joined too, I have no idea how to play this but hell why not, it'll be a good laugh!
8. The pillion passenger did look like they were going to pull out a gun on the rider but hard to tell, insane indeed this clip.
9. Depends where you are, between £60-90 is typical. In Glasgow, it's £60, however they are willing to reduce it to £30 if you pay within 14 days.
10. Hi folks, I want some input on this as I've noticed on my daily commutes to and from work that all the "experienced" bikers are riding in the bus lane to filter through the traffic queue, the bus lane in Glasgow clearly do not allow motorcyclist to use it but every biker I see is using it (especially in the morning); I just wanted to know if it is common in other cities too and where they stand if they get caught out by Police, it's not uncommon that Police are stationed on the main road I ride from time to time to assess traffic flow but I haven't seen them for a while. When I mean "experienced bikers" I tend to mean full licensed bikers riding by that are the main culprits more than learner riders, I do see a fair share of them using it too but they tend to follow suit whenever they see someone else doing it as they go pass them, it's kind of like a scene from Wacky races for folk trying to get to work the fastest.
11. Very nice bike you got there ShhSleep I do love the Honda CBR look!
12. Hi Isaac1993, Can you let us know who your insurer is? Usually with insurers, as Stu has said, they should try and settle your claim from you first reporting it to your settlement cheque reaching you within 28 days. I would suggest that if you haven't ready done so to check online for similar model, age of bike, and mileage to your stolen one to get a fair idea of what to expect from your settlement value. As it is a motorbike, they would usually go by market value.
13. I've had the Dr Marten's Garrick motorcycle boots for exactly a year now and they are bloody brilliant for my daily commute. The best way to describe them is like wearing really comfortable wellies but it's not wellies, them being slip resistant on the soles also helps on those really wet/cold Winter days. I really wish Dr. Martens made a new iteration to this boot as the original one came out so long ago and it's increasingly difficult to buy a replacement when the ones I have now are worn that I need a new pair. I brought my size (UK 9) in HelmetCity but it's only got size 11's left in stock now. https://www.helmetcity.co.uk/dr-martens-garrick-wp-boots-black-sale/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzvL16snZ5wIVSLTtCh1Z6QN-EAQYASABEgLGk_D_BwE
14. Like RAYK47, I too wear/wore this jacket but the 2.0 trouser for my daily commute and it has held up very well for the Scottish weather. If it's heavy raining, I tend to wear a waterproof layer on top, mainly as another layer to keep me warm but it also dries faster that if I were to just wear the jacket and trouser alone. I've used it everyday this Winter thus far.
15. they are actually outside XD in an area where people steal bikes, don't think they want my written off non working honda and my just barely running 10 year old kymco XD I can't imagine those scooters still have valid road tax? lol
16. Thanks for recommendation Older biker I was looking for something for my Bell helmet too as their visors typically don't come with pinlock inserts.
17. Can't wait for this season as this will be first season I get to watch it from the start.
18. I know it's like 4 days since the bells but hopefully it's still OK to say Happy New Year everyone.
19. Nice bike grunthorpe, I love how there is a crash bar at the front. I guess it's pretty useful if you wanted to mount anything. I do love the colour profiles of that bike, looks great for it's age.
20. Welcome back to the fold! Can't wait for those photos.
21. The issue now is that Paypal works independently from eBay so not sure if that is what is causing these delays.
22. Looks like Old-codger foreshadowed this!
23. Sorry to hear this dynax. I'm sure you will get it next time! Every 5 years! Does your job demand this? Or are you just doing this as refreshers?
24. Did they provide photos of your bike when they issued you the ticket? Usually parking tickets would include photos so that it's indisputable in court?
25. I still commute to work but I have definitely seen less bikes at the parking bay where I park up in the morning and same goes for when I walk by it in the afternoons, guess all my local bikers aren't very local so don't want to risk it during Winter, it is bloody freezing in the mornings plus days when it rains so can't blame them.
