1. I have their central lifter for the Busa and I love it, not too sure I love the adaptor being on the frame all the time but a cracking lift and so easy to move the bike tight to the side of the garage so I can get past without scratching her. Cheers Ian
2. In fairness some of us over a certain age were lucky enough to get a FS1E or AP50 for our 16th birthday and assuming we survived the next 12 months a 250 capable of nearly, or in the case of LC`s certainly over a ton ! Compulsory training was something we didn`t even think about after all our older brothers laughed at us for having crash helmets and 250`s. Some of us are still here and breathing so I believe it is possible to learn for yourself. In my opinion traffic etc is a whole lot more dangerous nowadays and if tuition is available why not take advantage but don`t forget some of the most experienced riders including some instructors are entirely self taught. Cheers Ian
3. I bet that was typed with a smug smile on your clock! Cheers Ian

I suppose I am what you would term East Midlands but I too would be up for it and in the past if I have arranged to trundle off somewhere I try to let people know in case they are about. Cheers Ian
5. Providing its not throwing it down with rain I was planning on going from Northants down to Dorchester to see my father in case its the last opportunity for a while because of restrictions. Obviously if weather crap I will chicken out and use the car. Cheers Ian
6. Hmm I remember sitting in a pub garden with @Six30 and being safe with my keys in the ignition like you say. Mind you it was only safe as I flattened the battery and had to bump start it lol Cheers Ian So when are we going to see a pic to show us what @Six30 looks like? I seem to remember him taking a shot or 2 but cant recall if any were selfies. One thing I can guarantee his avatar on here is not accurate lol. Cheers Ian

8. +1 for powerbronze. Got their ones on Busa and ZRX and provided you remember the screws they supply can be improved with SS allen screws they seem to be the best I have tried. Cheers Ian
9. linuxrob Do you find Muc off as effective diluted that much ? I have used it a lot in very small amounts on a rag neat for stubborn mark removal rather than a general pre wash. Currently experimenting with the new environmentally played with Jizer which is nowhere near as good as the old stuff,I may go back to parrafin which after all is what most of the original Gunk type solutions were. Cheers Ian
10. Like that a lot! You will be copied lol. Cheers Ian
11. If its no good to her as it is I was once told that an overnight stay in a freezer can remove radio code. I have no way of knowing if this is true but if the thing is scrap otherwise nothing to lose. Cheers Ian
12. Thats interesting and useful to know, thanks M.B Cheers Ian
13. They seem to survive quite well. I saw this one at Blists Hill near Telford last week lol Cheers Ian
14. Is that an A10 that was once a chop when he were a lad? Agree with death trap but probably got an MOT issued by some back street cycle shop lol. Probably run forever. Cheers Ian
15. Thats the one I got and wished I had seen it before. Cheap and effective. Cheers Ian
16. Hi I bought one of those bags recently and very pleased with it even in last weekends rain. Cheers Ian
17. Don't ! You`ll only encourage him lol. Cheers Ian
18. Following our under water journey from Ironbridge back to Kettering last Saturday I will be thoroughly cleaning the Harley if the weather stays dry this weekend. You never know I may even get out on it as herself is working Saturday administering flu jabs. Cheers Ian

20. Best of luck !!!!!!! Cheers Ian
21. Rode back from Ironbridge to Corby this morning. Now remember why I don`t normally ride in the rain anymore lol ! I fookin hate it. Home now and stuff unpacked and we had a nice week away bimbling about. Bringsty vintage cafe on way to Hereford on Monday. Ironbridge last night. Cheers Ian
22. We aren't camping and we're staying at the Malthouse so stiff walk or easy ride because of road closure according to Google maps. Thanks we will look into it. Aiming to be there midday tomorrow. Cheers Ian
23. gymwitch As today is Sunday just give the guy a call in the morning and check. In the past I have had a few tyres that didnt require balance weights but they are few and far between. Incidentally I had a Ducati single side wheel on my Harris and we couldn`t balance that for love nor money but being a rear I was less than bothered. Cheers Ian
24. Bike loaded for our week away. Hereford for couple of days then up to Ironbridge. Bound to get wet at some point. Just hoping we can find places open. Might try Gospel pass again. Actually glad the Canary islands got cancelled in the end. Cheers Ian
25. I used Sycamore Harley this time (first MoT since purchase). However, the best garage for bike MoTs in the area is at Graveley (best to book although you can go 'on spec'). 64 High St, Graveley, Saint Neots PE19 6PL Also started doing servicing last year (although I have yet to try them for that). Thanks for that I will check them out. Cheers Ian
