1. Never had a problem with them. Last chinese purchase I made was on Ebay the item took 10 days from purchase to arrive to the UK on 14/10/20. Tracking is showing as accepted by RM and still waiting for it. So yes it can take some time but don't blame the Chinese for everything.
2. Reminds me the story of the countryman talking to his friend... "Next month is my wedding anniversary." "Really?" "Yep, going to kill a pig for the occasion." "Why are you putting the blame on the poor animal?"

The Announcement!

I'll be writing all my posts on my notepad. It will be a very busy Thu...
7. I pay that every bloody month Shit! What services do they provide to warrant that cost? As a comparison, we have communal rubbish containers throughout the estate (inc recycling ones) and they're emptied every night! 7 days a week! I pay over £200 a month for the privilege of having: 4 wheelie bins (paper, plastic and metal, garden rubbish and general waste that doesn't fit on the other ones) to be collected once a week on a 2 bin per 2 weeks for the garden and general waste then in between the paper and plastic/metal alternated, crap roads, idiotic traffic signs Ice on the road during winter months paid parking on major towns and cities Litter everywhere ridiculous speed bumps that you can ride in between (even with the car) One thing the council offers for free and lots are potholes...
8. I think he's sorted! Maybe, but just in case someone else is interested

10. What is ESD? The homeopathy department I run is really taking it out of me and today I could have cheerfully told the NHS to swing. Have a read at our website https://esd.scot/ For you and Ian Frog In your area (down in England) I can suggest a look for vacancies at MWH Treatment https://mwhtreatmentweb.eploy.net/vacancies/vacancy-search-results.aspx
11. Not bike related but I think worth spreading the word. This is for anybody looking for a job in construction up here in Scotland and interested in having a look. Email from HR in where I work: Dear all, We’re hosting a recruitment fair for external candidates on Wednesday this week. 12. I'll always support anything that is not facecrapbook based
13. Still investigating here all 258 hoses connect to the carbs on the VT700c...
14. Remind me never to tell you a joke Hey, a competition is a competition
15. Would this last post puts me on the run for the TOTY??
16. That's pure conjecture. If by any chance you would feel the slightest discomfort because you can't access Tmbf for a couple hours I suggest you get a life...
17. Nobody here will die if at some point we find the "Under construction" sign for a couple hours if needed.
18. I'm pledging £500k to the forum!! As soon I get the $34m my new Nigerian friend promised me
19. One more name to be added to the subs list
20. I have a spare cd-rom
21. Strong wind, cold and very likely to be raining during the weekend up here so will be finishing the metal clamps I've been doing then will be making a desk from the decking boards I have laying in the garage.
22. What do you use for your navigation? - On short trips I use waze on the phone, touring I am planning to get a dedicated sat-nav How often do you use this? Always Do you believe this is an issue or could be improved? Not really No accidents
23. If Steel then you really want to have proper rust protection. clear coat is a thin layer that will only look shiny and will do buggerall to prevent rust. Al on the other hand still does corrode by reaction to acid and alkaline solutions (the white powder we see on Al mostly near the sea) so it will also need some protection before the clear coating
24. Before going harshly on Bridgestone tyres we need to keep in mind that the BT023 & 021 are older models and the newer BT046 seem to be far better and having solved that problem. Personally, I have Michelins on the ST1300 but won't have a problem going back to the BT's
