  1. Do you mean this? "So the new project is to fit 2 gel pads into both seats. The steps are (after removing the seats from the bike): Remove the cover; Marking the bit to be cut in a square pattern using a knife marked at 1.8 cm depth cutting the existing foam to accommodate the new gel, and will cut the extra 2mm as needed to have a smooth transition between gel and foam. As in the video, the memory foam serves as an additional very thin layer so it hides the difference between the gel and the normal foam. Cut the memory foam to size; Add a plastic sheet to form a waterproof barrier Refit the cover and install the seats back." Or did I lost you before you got there? Plus, the video explains it a lot better
  2. Keep in mind that the final colour will also depend on the primer you will be using. I find it very strange that a paintshop doesn't have a series of sample sets for the several paint brands. The guys I've used are a small shop and they have a tonne of those, the hard bit is to choose the one you want. By the way, make sure you see the sample strips at sunlight not under the shop lighting.
  3. After some consideration and cost implications (always after the damn bugger ££'s ) I decided that this would be the best course of action. Other processes would be much easier and not too much expensive. But if you have read some of my other projects you know by now that I don't like easy things, other than corkscrew devices ). The options were a ready made easy to fit one but this would be prone to theft so not an option. The other option, being the most complicated and only possible to steal if you take the whole thing off this is the process I'll be using. Pads from Aliexpress.com for under £31 including free delivery this was the best and cheaper option, arrived yesterday and is exactly what I wanted. Memory foam 2cm thick will be delivered today so I can start the project soon. I'll be following the method in the video below (in Spanish but video is clear enough) as it seems the most efficient and knowing that these guys are always busy with repeat business gives me the assurance that this is what I want. So the new project is to fit 2 gel pads into both seats. PS: I'll be bothering you guys with photos as in previous projects as I progress.
  4. Don't forget you will have to apply a self-leveling grout before you install this flooring. £18/m2 doesn't sound too bad if the quality is good Not too sure how you clean a oil spill on it, there is no indication of chemical resistance so I will assume there is none. Thinking about brake fluid and the likes I won't be too sure it will cope with it that well. Still not a bad value and easy fitting.
  5. I have no words...
  6. I've used a bit of a leftover strip from my kitchen. Fitted inside the red strip and works perfect as additional brake light. The issue you will have is the connection from the bike to the box. I've got to the trouble to use 2 bolts as connectors so when I take the box out I don't have to unplug anything. I'm sure that at some point I would forget to unplug it and damage the wiring.
  7. There are several cementious composites that will do the trick far better than paint. You want to spend a bit on quality if you don't want to have it coming out. You can also consider epoxy resin. there are several videos on youtube showing how it's done and won't be too expensive when you consider how long it lasts. Self-leveling concrete: https://www.screwfix.com/p/mapei-ultraplan-3240-self-levelling-compound-25kg/4959F?tc=DA3&ds_kid=92700048793315993&ds_rl=1249416&gclid=CjwKCAjwi_b3BRAGEiwAemPNU7PjiqafPOEbiAOqPgZmU43WKi2lWqlk_qEXNJOmdXe86rhI7Lm6UxoCL_QQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Epoxy resin https://www.ecfibreglasssupplies.co.uk Call these guys, they are the most helpful bunch you can find and the cheapest in the market. They are the ones I used for the carbon fibre for my project.
  8. Check my post about spraying the fairings, It's a Mazda metallic paint instead of traditional red honda The result was quite good
  9. A bit slow are we???
  10. Once you have the code generated you don't need network coverage because the reading is with the camera. In fact the whole thing can be generated without any coverage. You can generate as many codes as you need on any device and just store it. You will then have a code for "John", another code for "Chris"", "Dona", etc. all stored in the same phone. You then just need a person at the door scanning the codes and saving the information.

Those are probably the lower grade on what is becoming a big market. The problem with electric motorbikes has been the charging time because you can't "push" power into the battery the same way you can with cars. A Chinese company went around it with a replaceable battery that you can just take the empty one and plug a full battery. But for now electric motorbikes will be restricted to city riding until batteries get developed. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/advice/best/electric-motorbikes/
  12. You can yes, there are several phone apps that will generate a QR code and read them. As long everyone attending can show you the code is should be very straightforward. You then only need to save the data to an excel spreadsheet and you will have all the information you need. The way the QR generator works is, you add all the information you want like name, address, phone number, etc. then just press generate code and you're done. When reading the phone will translate the code to the information and can be saved.

    Hi

Hello and welcome. I subscribe all of the above. get some muscle, even pizza delivery guys have 125's
  14. Like Port wine. Older the better
  15. Can you listen to this without stomping your foot?
  16. I would say a like-for-like replacement. Could be that is the oil just gone past its life span. That bike suspension is pretty good from origin.
  17. Definitely. Looks like a trial bike and not a road one
  18. Just like when I discovered a problem with getting logged out everyone was ohhh I'm fine till you weren't lol Well.. that's why you got the job
  19. Makes you wonder if it's the user...
  20. I use Opera and never got that message.
  21. I understand the need for it, if you don't have a garage where to keep it than you won't have an alternative. I would also consider having some kind of blanket underneath it. This because it will get damn damp under the cover and the water will have nowhere to go other than turn into rust. A blanket would absorb the moist keeping the bike a little bit drier. Of course I'm talking about a cotton or any other natural fibre, we all know that polyester won't do the job.
  22. You do realise that you're talking about wheels that cost +$1,500 each. For that money I would buy a really nice whole bike
  23. I would consider a trail bike, they are usually taller than normal road bikes and better for "forgiving" mistakes that you may do if you are a new rider.
  24. This weekend update Ordered the trailer parts and about to order a set of sock absorbers. In conversation to a very helpful chap at Hafords and having my neighbour saying that his trailer was quite "jumpy" when not fully loaded I think it will be better to fit a pair of shock absorbers. Incredible that how hard it is to find a pair without giving a car model End up finding these on Ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/283903804820?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=283903804820&targetid=910259638509&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9046883&poi=&campaignid=10195652606&mkgroupid=101938389037&rlsatarget=aud-629407027585:pla-910259638509&abcId=1145987&merchantid=115503351&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3Nv3BRC8ARIsAPh8hgJmg6oEdraDy6-YY4BUq2LsOqZhNtH6_W7gpsVHVEBa1oQr0v3rC6saAqZoEALw_wcB Will just need to remove the springs and adapt them to the trailer. For weeks I wasn't happy with the length of the box and what would be the end result of the trailer. With a box 1.35m long the trailer would be just under the legal limit (2.50m from rear axle) I always thought that it would be a too long setting. So... Decided to chop 30cm off. Started with the cover and next, after welding it together will do the same to the base so it will fit together.
  25. One of the most beautiful Fado songs by one of the best voices Portugal ever. About a very Portuguese feeling called Saudade. Usually translated to English as nostalgia but hardly reflecting the feeling behind it. I don't expect you to have the goosebumps as any (proud) Portuguese would have but hope you appreciate it
