  3. Alternative is to change the keeper's name to your missus and tax it on her name.
  4. Why not create a section for links like the one for sportbikeshop so when we need it is at hand?
  5. I can be a big cat but a really fast one
  6. Start here https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax Then see what you will have to do next before going in full panic mode
  7. Ah thanks So avoid WD40 chain lube then? That's what I was using on my CB125f - also what is TPMS? https://www.thedrive.com/reviews/32190/best-motorcycle-tpms But WD40 isn't a dry silicone lube. From experience, dry silicone will last around 500 miles while normal "wet" lube is only good for short rides...
  8. STAY AWAY FROM WD40 WD40 is corrosive and will destroy the o-rings in the chain. dry silicone lub is the best, even better for bikes left outside and more subject to moisture. It will keep water at bay for longer and will protect the rings. This is one of the best https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/346257 You will find a link in the forum to sportsbikeshop that will help the website so you should use it. TMPS stands for Tyre Pressure Monitoring System I bought one from China and it works perfectly (you can see a photo of it in my thread for tank cover) It's very easy to install and works really well. https://www.dhgate.com/product/m3-tire-pressure-monitoring-system-tpms-wireless/510396113.html?d1_page_num=1&dspm=pcen.sp.list.19.VLElqfkMG9iMTDhNrlJl&resource_id=510396113#s1-15-1;searl|3624277386:19
  9. The bit of maintenance you will need to do more frequently will be keeping the chain lubricated. When I had my VFR I used a dry silicone chain lub and it's great. Regular tyre pressure check unless you get a TPMS is important too. keeping an eye on the engine oil at intervals of say 2 to 3 weeks is not a bad habit either. Honda are well known for being robust machines so won't require a great deal of attention.
  10. https://www.tayna.co.uk/All-SX-1.html?stype=cat&A-1=R115-145&A-2=R55-85&A-3=R115-145&A-5=&A-6= is this what you're looking for?
  11. Your limitation will always be the space you have available. Higher AH means more power available at any given moment. You would rather be looking at CCA (Cold Crank Amp) as this is where the battery gets the hit. Unfortunately suppliers nowadays can't take batteries back as they are filled before posting for safety reasons (some morons have no idea what to do with a battery acid and hurt themselves or are using the acid for illegal purposes) and once it's filled the guarantee kicks in so renders the battery unsellable.
  12. I would offer to help but we can't leave home to go that far here in Scotland
  13. Don't waste your time. A spit on it and clean with a microfire cloth. spit prevents fogging
  14. Really? I always begin by opening a beer. Myeb that's why everything I build falls down. Well, that is the pre-start isn't The so called prep work
  15. Bloody poles. Coming over here and stealing our forums. If were only the poles...
  16. Don't forget that first action is to stain it with proper stuff
  17. Can't vote. I would normally leave around 7am and arrive home after 5pm
  18. Almost forgot about this lady
  19. Forgot to mention. If you fit and remove it often you risk to having the fixing to become loose and tending to come off. Better to fit it and leave it there.
  20. I got myself a Morrison's similar. It works the same way, a larger bottle and cheaper
  21. I have a pinlock on my Nolan and never remove it. I don't notice any abnormal distortion stronger than what you get on the normal visors. I think you just need to get used to it, like when you get new varifocals
  22. By the time you add all what you have spent in connectors, assuming you still have a VHS player and hours trying to improve the quality. You will realise that you have saved nothing or very little. Not to mention that you would end up with a proper professional conversion.
  23. One thing you can't beat the Spanish is their asphalt. Even secondary roads are so smooth that you forget you're riding. Completely opposite to UK roads, when you drive here feels like you have Parkinson's....
  24. I'm on my 3rd Huawei phone and won't budge from them. Moved to Virgin recently because they had a great deal at the time. I always do this: Check energy suppliers every 2 months Check for internet suppliers 1 month before existing contract ends Check for deals on mobile phone every 6 months, some deals include they paying your surcharge for leaving early Make sure you use more than 1 comparison website and go directly to the company's site to make sure you don't miss out. It's a bit of a faffle but saves you money
