Acf50 is expensive? You buy a bottle from sportsbikeshop following the link in the forum for about 25 quid and it will last several years. I would say that wd40 would require at least 2 or 3 cans per year

Possible issues can be: A parasite current An hidden immobilizer a battery tender (low current charger) can be left plugged indefinitely.

husoi replied to husoi's topic in For Sale and Wanted - Motorbike related
Now sold If.one of the @Admin wants you can delete it -
I would say the easiest way is to spend 90 days each year and then you only need your normal insurance. Same rules apply for breakdown cover. Another way would be a second bike

I'm wondering if you are allowed to stay in the EU for 8 months. Never mind the insurance. If you can insure the bike in any EU country that will be valid across the union so effectively you only need to do it once.

Although I know little about it, I found this interesting article https://enviroliteracy.org/how-to-get-rid-of-green-algae-on-soil/ Hope it helps a bit

I would definitely use a relay to connect it. The wire to the controller connected to the relay switch. The solenoid will be connected to the ignition to make sure it won't go on of the bike is off. The other side of the relay switch connects directly to the battery through a fuse. The second connector of the solenoid goes to ground (frame).

I have just realised that because I won't be able to take the pan to the country I'm moving to. It will be pointless to pay a fortune for the shipment of all my stuff when I can pocket the money and buy what I will need there. 1 container would cost almost 3 grand, plus taxes, a trip to London to have the lair of good validated. Adding to this the cost of "smoothing" customs people and paying the customs office for the release of everything. Adding to this, would have to rent a space to keep the stuff until I manage to sort it. As result, and for anyone interested, I'll be either giving away or if whoever is interested feels generous, in the next couple of weeks I'll be giving away all my tools, bike related or not. Adding to this all the household stuff I didn't manage to sell/give away on Facebook will have to go too. Failing that. It will wither go to recycling centre or some charity willing to take it Almost forgot to mention. Tools are located at Rigside, south of Lanark While household stuff is in Carluke

Forgot to add. What's inside the trailer will go with it. Air bed 2 sleeping bags 2 camping chairs 1 table (part of the trailer) Camping light Wheel clamp Codded Wheel nut Pouch with camping pegs.

Both the bike and trailer are now advertised on facecrap Because I can't bring them with me to Asia due to import restrictions I have to let it go. Just wondering if anyone here will be interested in acquiring a magnificent trailer. The towing hitch was made for the ST1300 but you can get one, make it or have made for pretty much any decent bike. Net weight is 65kg Total weight would be limited either by your bike or up to 150kg. If I would sell considering 3tome it took me to built it we would be talking about 7k Because I'm a nice guy, I'm open to reasonable offers, ideally in the region of 2k. Should you want to buy the 2 please pm and we can discuss it. Ridiculous offers will be just ignored because I don't have the patience for it.

I would suggest that you go to a dealer and sit on the ones you fancy. No point in us telling you what we like if you're the one riding it Honda is well known to be the best brand of you want trouble free ownership. From all the bikes I ever had, only one had a problem with the ecu and because I rode it to a flooded area and had water up to the tank. Other than that even the old shadow is a great bike. Yes showing signs of age but you expect that for a 35yr old bike. If possible, have a ride test to see which one you feel comfortable with both on height and riding position
