  1. You call this few??? in 2019 operating charging stations overtook petrol stations in number. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry/uk-has-more-ev-charging-stations-petrol-stations
  2. Not at all. Come to Fife and you will see all rapid charge stations (50kw) empty and rarely used. With most councils applying charges it is far cheaper to charge at home than paying £1.60 connection fee plus £0.30/kwh An overnight charge at home can be as cheap as 5p/kwh during the night, why would you pay more? The great thing about EV' is that you can fuel up while you're asleep
  3. Don't be so sure about it. Shell, like all the others will take the opportunity to change the petrol stations into charging ones. If you think about it, it is more profitable to have a charging services where people sit for 1hr instead of fuel where you just stop and go. while you're sitting waiting you will buy a coffee, a cake, etc. Drilling wells are already being converted to CO2 storage areas so they don't lose as much as we think.
  4. Them too. I was referring to the "Jeremy Clarkson"s of the world.
  5. I had this problem with my shadow. seafoam liquid mixed to the existing oil and a bit in petrol tank. did a few 100 miles then changed the oil to proper castrol one. Added seafoam and the problem was gone forever
  6. Horses were used for millennia, Steam engines would never replace a horse, Petrol engines? Ah that will never take off... nobody expects ICE engines aficionados to give up just like that.
  7. Good sunny morning folks. Today I reach a new low... 94.10 kg
  8. Recently I found that had what seemed random noise. End up finding that would happen when I open the top vent on the flip-up. Further investigation and it was the headphones cable passing just under the vent that was making all the rattling. Moved the cable to the back and problem solved The way you lean your head will affect the aerodynamics of the lid and certain positions are noisier than others. This is even worse if you ride a naked bike and no windscreen. The difference is really noticeable if your bike have an electric windscreen and you can change its position while riding.
  9. Very good morning. Thought of the day: "Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday."
  10. Shame my shadow is only 700 old fashion carbs and little electronics to it. The most sophisticated electronic component is the quartz watch
  11. If I was living in England charity shops would be the first place I would look for a 1st jacket. Last week bought a great pair of rain trousers with warm inside for £8 in Plymouth. Shame that when anything shows up in Scotland is well worn and old.
  12. You should make a complaint to the station. If nothing else to keep them on their toes

  17. There are great places outside Ull, and if you want to get wet go to Cornwall...
  18. A route I haven't been this year. Last one was up to Stoneheaven, then the A93 all the way down to Perth. I always check where the weather is going to be better and go around that region. Mostly how long I'll be riding determine how far I'll be going.
  19. You will find that to be more common with custom bikes and H&D Although some people, me included will hvxae theirs rebuilt or gel pads added
  20. Sounds like your glasses need adjustment on the thingy that goes over the ears. You can get some rubber holders, like sport people have
