  1. Then add the £55 for the bobbin mounting brackets to replace the OE Yam 125 chain adjuster blocks. I'm hoping to not keep the bike that long so dont want to spend anything I don't really have to on it. Fish
  2. Another trick would be to remove the liner and stick it in a bag in the freezer for a few days. Fish
  3. What I need is for the test centre's to get back to work so I can do my DAS! LAZY SH!TS Fish
  4. I use something like that when snowboarding. Keeps the head nice and warm until I can get to the beer tent.
  5. Washed the bike then cleaned/waxed the chain. Getting pi$$ed off with not having bobbins to make the rear stand an easy task to do. Fish
  6. I've adjusted the first post as it's been a long day and got my achilles and hamstring mixed up.... Both part of the leg in my books Fish
  7. So with Black Friday coming up I thought I'd look for recommendations for some warmer boots. I'm currently wearing some TCX Junipters which are waterproof gore-tex urban type boots. With the colder weather I found my toe tips getting cold, but I'm more concerned about the wind on my achilles. Don't fancy those getting tight and snapping, so what boots are recommended? Need to be waterproof and fit under some over-trousers. Thanks Fish
  8. I'm sure you're meant to mount it so you can't see the mount. Fish
  9. working tomorrow, so hopefully sunday will be a ride (not much of a bimbler) and a wash at the end.
  10. today on my bike..... I froze my nuts off. Looked out the window this morning and car windows had cold white stuff all over them, so thermals on with a pair of thicker socks and made my way to work. Only part that really got cold was tips of my toes and my hamstrings (anckle boots not tourers), but I think a thicker pair of socks should solve that. Learning every day. Fish
  11. Define 'affordable', everyone has a different £ amount Fish
  12. aren't they the things that get tied to stop little Six's appear

Could be the kickstand switch. By all accounts it's a known issue on the MT125's. Fish
  14. Shame there's no pictures
  15. Get yourself on Sport Pursuit, many a big brand at most of the time half price and lower. I've work many a brand of merino over the years of snowwboarding and I keep going back to Icebreaker. There are some good syntheic brands but you cant beat merino wool and the non-stink properties of it. Fish
  16. Treated it to a little upgrade on the disc lock department. Abus 8077 replacing the cheap crap that was supplied with the bike. Fish
  17. Only found the grumpys in Cornwall, never Somerset
  18. Ride done and a lot more relaxed than yesturday. I did notice a number of non-essential shops open and doing business, also so many people out and about makes this lockdown more of a joke sadly. Fish
  19. Pushed to January! Time to look at other places to get this done me thinks. Fish
  20. As the weather is looking ok (ok dry at least) I'll be going for a socially distanced ride to god knows where. Week from hell, but on the plus side I've just passed an exam from hell. Sometimes I hate working in IT, and this was one of those weeks. Hope everyone else has a good weekend. Fish
  21. You do know this isn't hemorrhoid cream.... Fish
  22. The idiot who dropped his Speed Tripple RS! Riding (filtering at this point) to work up the old kent road this morning and an impatient guy on a noisy beast starts giving plenty of right wrist behind me. So when I get a chance I move over to let him through, only to catch him at the next set of lights. Couple of sets of lights later and I'm still there with him much to his dismay. Just past Elephant and Castle heading towards Westminster and the road drops into a 20mph zone due to schools and the like. This guys blasts from like is the start of a race, front wheel struggling to keep on the ground. 500 yards up the road and he's dusting himself off and the tripple is in the gutter on its side! I would guess that some school kids crossed a road and he wasn't able to stop and dropped it. I hope the bike isn't too bad as I quite like them, but I just hope he's learnt to stop being a dick. Fish PS. I'm not preaching that I'm an angel, but when there's schools around I do tend to ease off.
  23. Email from the training company this morning, England have closed the testing centre's..... It's not like we're sitting in the same car or anything They are now looking to reschedule as per their current schedule. So those booked on the 5th will get first, I should be in the second or third batch. Fish
  24. Sadly it's down to the fact that only that persons opinion matters and anything else is wrong and should be banned full stop. We're now a country of snowflake arsewipes who cannot accept others doing something they don't agree with. Fish
  25. I have my DAS booked for the 10th to 12th Nov, I'm not giving up that they will be cancelled at this point. I had an email from the training company this morning and they seem to think they will continue but should know 100% by Wednesday. Fish
