  1. I could only dream of my insurance being that low.
  2. I got a BikeIt heavier duty which came with the bike from the dealer which is my home cover (parked outside), this is quite bulky and doesn't really transport that well. So I went and got myself an Oxford Aquatex rain cover, this is much lighter and packs down way better. So the Oxford is the one I take when I know I'm covering the bike in a street. Fish
  3. I wonder if there's a Haynes manual for it.... Fish
  4. So it looks like they have redesigned the Litelok and coming out with a new model and they want some backers. Clicky Link Almost tempted as a lightweight for when parking at some customers locations. Fish
  5. Had these arrive today, arrived quicker than an order from John Lewis, and they came from a much further distance to boot. Guess I'll be fitting them over the weekend. Fish
  6. I've had these for years, one set for clay shooting and another for work/holidays which are just plain gummies (no filtering). Fish
  7. If you want to use some half decent products, check out Auto Finesse which can be found in Halfords of all places. They started as a pro car detailing company and with some backing are now getting to a fairly decent size. The products are spot on and freindly to paintwork. Fish
  8. There are some products out there for matt painwork, but it comes down to how it's applied. The stuff that main dealers apply is total crap, bought off the internet for £25-£50 at a push. The only types of main dealers who use proper ceramic coatings are the higher end dealers, porsche, aston martin, etc. They get a professional car detailer in to prep and apply the coating. The process if done properly takes a good few days, under heat lamps to fully harden/go off. You can buy all sorts of ceramic products, even turtle wax is in on the game now. Fish
  9. Depending on which customer I'd be working for that day/week I would have to catch at least the bus and a train into London then walk from there, with the same for the return home. During this pandemic I decided to get on two wheels and now refuse to use public transport. I've always hated the underground and since 7/7 I avoided as much as possible. OK the initial and annual costs of owning a car and bike (road tax and insurance) aside, it's still so much cheaper than public transport into central London. I've always been warry of getting on a bike, as I've been a progressive driver shall I say and was worried I'd be as bad on a bike. Being a little ol' 125 isn't that bad at the moment, but I know I'll have to restrain myself if/when I get something bigger.
  10. F1 and motorsport commentary in general hasn't been the same since he left. Fish
  11. If it's the datatool you should have zero issues with it. Fish
  12. Morning all, it's only 9:45 and I'm already bored. No idea what to do, with zero motivation to go with it. Fish
  13. morning lasses n lads
  14. Got my email today, with dates that due to work commitments I've had to push back to June. Fish
  15. and in the dry(ish) Fish
  16. Just seen this on facecrap and thought I'd share. Fish
  17. Pretty little beast.
  18. I dropped my training company a email and got a fairly short reply of leave us alone, we'll contact you when we're ready. Only asked to confirm if I was still on the waiting list. Guess they've had enough of getting emails by now. Fish
  19. Mr Fro, that's the sort of paddock stand I have, but on the offside (non-chain side) the ABS sensor means that trying to get a good seating can be tricky, which is where I almost dropped the bike. Maybe the Abba is the way to go. Thanks people. Fish
  20. Any chain that you can carry will not last that long against an angle grinder. Fish
  21. Tempted to give this a go, instead of spending £50. Wise idea or not? http://r125trackbike.blogspot.com/2014/05/attaching-rear-swingarm-sliderspick-up.html

    Sad news

Sorry to hear the news @dynax. Stay safe if and when you go out riding.
  23. Thanks Tim, but it's a solid axel. Fish
  24. it's almost how mine it done.
  25. Almost dropped the bike this morning trying to put it on the fecking paddock stand! The MT125's don't come with bobbins or anywhere to just screw a set onto, so I'm now looking at a set of R&G's which cost 3 times the price of the what looks like crap chinese ebay jobs. Just really hate over paying for kit! Fish
