Picked up my new Lithium Ion battery from Manhattan Motorcycles for the Himma ... we where all impressed with the weight ..800gms as opposed to the 3.4 kg of the battery coming out .. ! 180 cranking amps as opposed to 130 for the oem battery .... and £30 cheaper than the same Li-On battery from Hitchcocks .... who are currently closed and won’t send a battery by courier .... shame .... but it’s their business model ...

My roadmap changed from the coast to Doncaster Airport, Gainsborough, up the Trent on the west side, east to Sandtoft Airport then out along the Doncaster plain via McD’s hot choco at Thorne ..... nice run out ...

Lots of us ... lots ..ride all year round .... the weather is never right .. Too ... wet, icy, hot, cold, slippy, dry .. et al. What happened when your bike wobbled to-day was that .. you learnt. Next time you power wobble out of a roundabout, you won’t even notice ... you’ll instinctively deal with it. Flying and Motorbikes have a lot in common ... Every landing you walk away from is a good landing, every ride you get home from was a good ride ..

The important thing is til keep the chain off the deck. If your chain is on the deck all it takes is a sledge and a wedge .... harder like this .. usually needs an angle grinder ... and their noisy.. the U lock on the front wheel is just for nuisance value ...

Childcare and garden sorting today. Taking the bike out for a long run tomorrow to the coast, Hornsea, and back alone the coast road to Hull then over the bridge and home ... in the rain probably but who cares ....

It has a cover .. just peaking in from the LH side on top of the bin , but 2.5 years outside .. not a slightest sign of the rust ...
