  1. Where's my puppy gone?
  2. Area definitely plays a big part. As someone who has to pay the "Bradford" tax due to my postcode I know only too well I once put down my mother-in-laws address (York) instead of my own on an online quote just to see what would come up and got almost £200 cheaper for the year Can't say I wasn't tempted
  3. This happened to me and my premiums went right up the following year. When I rang insurance to find out it turns out just reporting it is enough to be classed as a claim on their system whether or not they have to pay anything out To them it doesn't matter that they haven't paid out, what does matter is that you have reported a vehicle as stolen so are considered more of a risk.
  4. Trolley shelters in supermarkets too
  5. Car door locks were frozen this morning. I thought at first it was just usual door seals frozen to frame but when pressing unlock on remote I could hear the boot unlocking but not the doors Gave a few people on the street a good laugh watching me crawl inside through the boot at least

  9. I try to keep a few notes in my wallet. Usually by time I need to use some cash I find my Wife has got there first and I need to take a trip to the atm
  10. I just saw this thread and thought I'd overslept Happy New Year
  11. @Fozzie You reminded me of a guy I briefly worked with when I was a teenager. I worked for an ICT company supplying networks and support to schools( I'm old so we are talking Windows NT, 98se, 2000) My job was office based. Building the machines and repairing any that the engineers couldn't do on site. A new engineer was hired, ex IBM guy so everyone was expecting big things when he came in. Turned out the annoying little 19 year old prick who spent most of his time in the office downloading music from winmx and had no formal qualifications.......in other words me ..... knew a shit load more than he did It came to light that all he used to do at IBM was go on site, load a norton ghost recovery image and say " there you go " and if that didn't work he took machine back to office to let someone else fix it
  12. My best had to be the 1kg of mixed flavours of Biltong my Wife got me Wouldn't say I had anything I'd think was bad. Probably too many boxes of biscuits
  13. I like every second Friday ( like tonight) as its my night off
  14. Note to any young single guys on here. Get yourself one of these Can't tell you how many women have been approaching me to get a closer look and introduce themselves to her As a happily married man she's almost wasted on me
  15. It'd be cheaper to get on bike and deliver them yourself

    Iceland.....

Roads might be a bit dodgy for a bike though!! This happened a couple of days after we got back. We were actually in that car park a week before!! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cq521pw0pgjo

    Iceland.....

I just got back from Iceland a few of weeks ago. Not on a bike sadly. Second time going. Me and the Wife love it there. Expensive though! Think we worked out a can of coke was around £3
  18. Drive a 50cc? So like a go kart or ride-on lawnmower? Joking aside, no, that won't be anything I would sign, and honestly seems pointless. You can ride a 50cc at 16 after doing a cbt. A 17 year old still has to do a cbt after passing their driving test before they can ride a scooter nowadays. Or is what you are wanting a complete rise of the age someone can ride a bike? I don't agree with that either. Now if you want to discuss proper licensing and regulations for the e-bikes that most kids and scrotes alike are whizzing about on doing pretty much 50cc speeds with no license, training or insurance then that is something I could get behind.
  19. I only remember the ones in colour
