@Simon Davey Not actually a bad idea to keep a spare PCB. Always seems to be the part that goes wrong!

Its a good day as the new pcb fixed my boiler

Got up to a broken boiler Error code says its gas valve or pcb. Got a new pcb being delivered tomorrow as it was only £40, The gas forums I've looked on say 9/10 times that is the issue with this boiler so figured it was worth trying that first rather than calling someone out. If it doesn't work might look at a new one anyway as its getting on a bit

Welcome to the forum Off top of my head, oil, filters, brake fluid, possibly new tyres as they might of developed flat spots from not moving. Battery should get away with just charging though that's also a possibility to replace. Was it left with any petrol in the tank? carbs may need a clean as could be gummed up. Chain will need a good clean and lube. Thats all I can think of at moment, I'm sure someone else will come along with more

As much grief ( rightly in some cases) Amazon gets, I can't fault the returns service I've experienced with them. Our air fryer went bang (while still in warranty) I went onto my amazon account and registered the fault, they then sent me an identical air fryer out the next day and asked me to send the old one back (in the packaging from the new one) which involved just dropping it off at local shop.

I've just got back from a week in Portugal Glorious weather, friendly people, would certainly go again. We even nipped over the border to Seville for the day which was nice but absolutely rammed as it was on the same day AC/DC were performing so full of fans hanging from every street corner. Bad start to the holiday as our flight was delayed due to being struck by lightning Got put up in a hotel overnight as they couldn't get another plane ready in time to get to Faro airport before it shuts down for the night! All went fine once we got there

I have a bottle like that too. I use it on my lawnmower and it is still happily chugging along. Wouldn't let it near any actual vehicles though -
One more shift and its holiday time Unfortunately it's a Friday before a bank holiday weekend which means it'll be heaving all day

I never even thought/realised that! Makes sense.

I now hover between 83 and 84kg (13st 1lb - 13st 3lb) so thats 13kg (28lbs) down so far I'm nowhere near as militant as I was in January, Will have a takeaway once a week, I'll have a drink on a night but not the next night. I am mainly just keeping to a diet of avoiding excess sugar which has been easy enough to sustain. Oh, and I now take protein bars to eat at work instead of the food there

Usually this is what I completely forget about until I've taken the caliper off So much easier to undo the bolts when its still on the forks

Started my lawnmower (Honda) on 2nd pull today which is usual no matter when I go to start it. It's an absolute workhorse, belonged to my Father-in-law when he had a landscaping company so is complete overkill for my needs. As for my Stihl strimmer I just didn't have the energy today to try and get that bast*rd started

Didn't know police contacted insurance company for you now Similar thing happened to me years ago. Woke up in morning to find bike stolen. Contacted Police & insurance. I then went for a scout round the bad estates in town and found it in a communal alley behind a row of houses. Wires all stripped and twisted together in a failed attempt to start it. Pushed it back home, contacted Police & insurance again ( this was only about 3 hours after I first reported it) and all was fine in the world until I got my renewal. Rang insurance up and they said it had gone up because I made a claim. I said the claim was cancelled after a few hours and no payout was made. Doesn't matter as my file shows a claim made for a stolen bike. I wrongly assumed a claim against your insurance would only count once they had actually paid out

I'm still cutting out sugar, no biscuits for me

Still waiting to do mine. I live on a hill which apparently has underground streams according to a neighbour. This means boggy grass until probably April along with moss, so much bloody moss!
