  1. Another Yorkshire here. I did live in Cornwall for a couple of years when I was younger before fleeing back! A Yorkshire man's wallet isn't happy with Cornish prices
  2. Just been told off at the tip for trying to get rid of too much old oil I've been lazy and have amassed a bit of a collection, some half used bottles have probably been in garage 4 or 5 years at least As I was pouring out the 3rd bottle a guy came up to me saying you do know you are only allowed to empty out 5 litres? I said No, I figured there would be a limit but didn't expect it to be that low!! Chatted to him a bit about what it all was and he let me go ahead but said in future only 5 litres!! Not too bothered really but I did think to myself that wouldn't even cover an oil change for a lot of cars now. My wife's Qashqai takes 5.5 litres.
  3. This was over 13 years ago so I'm assuming it has been settled or the neighbours have moved welcome to the forum
  4. This bike is sold in other parts of the world as a Znen F11. I found this answer on a forum asking the same question Turn the scooter on, then press and hold the "SET" button on the display for 1 sec, then turn the scooter off (with the key). Turn the scooter on again. It should be set to kph/mph. If it's not, keep repeating the process until it is, it doesn't always work instantly. If I'm not mistaken, the display also has to be on either "trip" or "odo" mode. Forgot which one, try it. =D
  5. Won't be coming today now . I'm hoping I can make it for tomorrow morning/lunch time ish.
  6. @RideWithStyles bender is the one in charge of keeping the forum tidy so you could just message him directly and save waking the rest of us up
  7. @bonio Here you go, I went on a New York to Nova Scotia cruise several years ago
  8. China are moving up to 1ltr bikes now cfmoto V4 Still in production for now
  9. I'm still planning on attending
  10. The town next to me is hosting their yearly Harley Davidson rally. Apparently it's the biggest in the country. Never been able to get over to it as I always seem to be working when its on https://visitbaildon.co.uk/baildon-harley-rally/
  11. Me & the Wife have our google accounts linked with each other including location sharing. Mainly so we can easily share photos and calendars but it can be quite useful opening up google maps and seeing her location. That way I know how long I've got before she's home so I can time the cleaning

Hello and welcome to the forum. I've translated your post into English as this forum is predominantly UK based Not quite sure what the problem could be but sounds like something is wrong for sure! Is it a digital fuel gauge or an older style analogue type? Just wondering if it's something wrong with the electrics as that's common with Chinese bikes!
  13. Jaffa cake and jammy dodger packets are both fully eaten when opened by me. No crumb left behind
  14. @Steve_M I remember being told a story (pretty sure it was a forum member) about someone who was riding on the motorway when he saw a police car up ahead. Stuck behind it for ages doing exactly 70, he got fed up and decided to overtake. He slowly started going past probably doing no more than 73, when he got level with the drivers side he looked over and saw the copper looking back at him with a grin on his face wagging his finger and then pointed for him to get his arse back behind the car
  15. Loose or dodgy connection perhaps? Has the seat been taken off and put back on pressing on one of the wires maybe? I used to get that with my Intruder, would stop rear light from working
  16. A pretty common failure for chinese scoots/motorbikes. I've had to fix a few for friends or similar and it's usually electric related rather than anything to do with the engine. Melted headlight connectors was the last one I had to do!
  17. Some of you might of seen this video before but thought I'd share as it's an eye opener to how piss poor some of the cheap £30 amazon / ebay helmets are
  18. New ebay bargain. Makita 18v Impact Wrench. Sold as spares or repairs, buyer said it just stopped working. Thought if I get it for less than £20 even if I can't fix it I'll be able to resell and it'll give me an excuse to hide in shed It's definitely had a hard life, no oil or grease on it just lots of dirt and dust so guessing it belonged to a scaffolder or similar rather than a mechanic. Took it apart and first thing I noticed was this broken fuse.... Put a new one in and it's a runner!! Wife has told me to quit while I'm ahead, well I think her exact words were to stop wasting our money on broken crap we don't need
  19. Oh I know! Kicked myself pretty hard over that. As my driving instructor told me when he found how I failed " that's how you drive when NOT being tested!! "
  20. My Wife is a midwife. Her procedures if she gets it are to go into work as normal providing she feels well enough!
  21. I blame the manufacturers!! Cheap Chinese leather or some such. It must be as I can't think of any other reason why this happens to us all! Oh and welcome to the forum
