  1. Thankfully I got a 5 year fixed term 2 years ago when rates were low(er)
  2. Selling for £23 on Amazon at moment in case anyones a fan. I know I am
  3. Unfortunately it'll be as its a scooter and not a "proper" bike If you nodded and they didn't nod back then I'd just think "twat" and carry on Of course it may be that you have only met BMW riders and they are usually just knobs
  4. @Stu is right. I'm betting you would burn many many extra holes in that trying to weld it up. At least I know I would As a temp measure could you use one of the holts silencer patches?
  5. I think coils are only usually rated for about 120,000 miles. Can't expect them to live forever
  6. Welcome to the Forum
  7. Just had a quick Google and most places seem to be north of £300 now for a 3 cubic metre bag
  8. 2 tonne which apparently is approx 3.5 metres worth. I don't think there is anything at all at the moment that hasn't soared in price
  9. @Tankbag £280 but that was because I ordered begining of August so he honoured that quote. He told me he's now having to charge £350 for same amount
  10. Not worth the hassle then My other ideas involve barbed wire and car batteries
  11. If you aren't planning on riding for a while you could reverse the bike into your garage, leave it in gear and remove the clutch lever. Won't stop 2 people carrying it but I reckon it'd stop a lot of thieves from bothering unless they really wanted your particular bike
  12. Will give that a look
  13. does the motor sound like it's going to start or is it just the sound of the starter spinning? Have you got a multimeter to measure the battery? If you are feeling energetic you could try bump starting the bike. If it fires up at least you can rule out anything too major
  14. Ht leads or fuse?
  15. Probably coal
  16. From last year they stopped the selling of wet wood. You can only buy Kiln dried or seasoned logs now. Wet wood being anything with over 20% moisture I think.
  17. @onesea I had similar with this. We ordered it in beginning of August and has taken until now. Also he was going to charge today's prices which are £70 more than what it was when we ordered it!! To be fair he realised and charged right amount. He said if I need more he can't fit me in until January! With energy costs rising more and more are buying it I guess, apparently, around here at least, there is a 3 month waiting list on Stoves and fitting
  18. Anyone local want to give me a hand?!!
  19. That's what I told him. It added approx 400 miles on altogether. Really not worth the bother for such an old car. Funnily enough I don't use that garage anymore unless I really have to. My Wife pointed out to me that the bills from there always came to an exact amount like £200 or £250 etc. It was never £189.65 or similar like it is other places. I figure it gets rounded up rather than rounded down!!
  20. Alternatively if you have a garage like mine and show him this video of my cars odometer going weird he'll tell you he knows a bloke who can take the miles off if I want
  21. @Blackholesun That is fantastic!! Did you report it as stolen to your insurance? When mine was stolen and I managed to recover it on the same day I had already reported it as stolen. Unfortunately this meant my premiums went up and I lost my no claims despite insurance company not paying anything out Anyway hopefully you'll get a better result and the important thing is you have it back!!
