  1. Can you remember that far back?
  2. Have a browse on maplins, a 240V one will work fine, especially as the bikes 12v wiring will be fairly thick externally so will be similar to the individual wires in mains cable. They probably do a proper 12v one though which would be ideal.
  3. That is why you need to be doing the servicing yourself!
  4. I remember the TZR250 well, I am an old git remember! 2 strokes have a very different way of working than 4 strokes, no metal valves just a reed valve that is a one way valve for the gases, they need the shape of the exhaust to draw the exhaust gases out of the engine and 2 stroke tuning was always massively about the exhaust shape. Exhausts made by certain people were sought after as it was always considered a bit of a black art! Small diameter means higher gas flow.
  5. Awesome, this has made my evening! I always wanted a TZR!
  6. I am riding up with Bex probably fairly early, Owen has to go to school so Tracy will be bringing up the car arriving in the evening.
  7. er, get a raw sausage, poke a hole down the middle with a skewer, then pump water through it, see how good an aim YOU are! (or just try with Ollie woo)
  8. Was she using a whizzer, or did she just get her jeans wet .. Neither, Fly down, legs either side of tree, and I guess she squeezed. Definitely didnt get wet though!
  9. er... NO! You'll get me shot. It was a friend from Bristol who I don't see any more.
  10. I have never understood the fuss about Women not being able to wee outside, I had a friend who shall remain nameless who demonstrated to me how easy it is for a woman to pee up against a tree, and she had jeans on at the time! And we were both drunk, maybe that's the key.
  11. Or BOTH obviously Stu?
  12. If it rains I'll just move in with you in your marquee... (BTW thats you in the middle ) It's me on the other side too!
  13. Welcome aboard! Sounds like fun to me, the sort of thing I fancy trying one day!
  14. Most have bungee hoops on various points as well as the wing bits. Mine have various hoops attached around at different heights so easy to fix on with bungees, or I can fold the wings under the rack and fix them together in the middle.
  15. Most with side wings will fold underneath anyway so i wouldn't be put off a particular one because of that.
  16. Don't you have a couple of Reg/Recs knocking around? Not a bad idea I think, Not sure what I have, but probably have something, happy to donate to a table of stuff. If we are paying for a big group booking, a set fee, I would have thought the rules on us competing with the pub by selling burgers would be a lot more relaxed, I mean if they have several hundred pounds off us, I would not see they can complain if we have a collective BBQ????? That just seems like a good easy way to raise some funds for the forum generally. We won't be buying a lot of meals from them anyway as jury service means we are going to be bloomin brassic when we get there, might be begging for fuel to get up! Matt
  17. A Timpsons should be able to do that, they are pretty good and everywhere, including in big tesacos now.
  18. Quiz sounds good!
  19. I'll help bribe TC with beer! Shall we have a collection?
  20. Shame if Dave doesn't do it, was awesome last year, but a tag rideout sounds like fun otherwise.
  21. Do some touring up around the UK first to see how you get on. A trip round Scotland is lovely, but if you break down, the RAC still come get you!
  22. That is a definite possibility! Having said that, you guys have a LONG way to come on 125s! I don't think anyone would think anything of you not riding up.
  23. and if its shit we can sit in the pub drinking his beer You are ALL 'Bar Stewards'!
  24. Why would I want to do that? We're borrowing a 'mansion tent' so I'll have my work cut out figuring out how it goes up!
