Ever hear those adverts for new mattresses on the TV/radio? They all say they recommend replacing your mattress after 7years... Coincidence that 7years is legally accepted length of time any product is expected to last under UK law? Of course not! So any manufacturer who states replace after 5 years likely puts themselves in a position exposing themselves to a lawsuit where the purchaser can claim the item not fit for purpose and be entitled to a refund.

It's nonsense. Nothing inside the helmet degrades with time that accurately that it can be 2 or 5 years.

They all conform to the same safety standards. The expensive ones just feel better quality and have nicer interiors and better quality visor mechanisms, and are typically lighter and last longer. The 5year rule is a myth.

Many sports bikes are designed with ram-air induction so at high speed they produce more BHP. So the airbox must be pretty good at dealing with pressure. I wonder what pressure you could boost a standard airbox to, and I wonder how that could be achieved at lower speeds?? Basically forced induction on the cheap.

Id likes to think it could be done for 2k with no engine mods, but then I know what I spent on just an exhaust so that would leave much room for the turbo and airbox etc! Also, electronics would need to be messed with so realistically I reckon a good kit would cost 3k easily and that's before engine mods and without any fancy brand names pushing the price up!

What about swapping the engine for a 125cc? Get a Motocross or enduro motor in there and it will fly!! Sound awesome too.

It still goes through the disk, so even unbolting the device wouldnt make it rideable. Personally I'd fill the hex bolts with some sort of filler that could be chipped out with enough time.

The fact is you can do whatever you like so long as you don't exceed the levels of grip available. This leaves huge scope for different riding styles to evolve which is why there are so many "correct" ways to corner. On the road youre balancing many factors, traffic, road condition, hazzards, visibility, etc etc which makes every corner different. The best line for visibility might result in riding over a wet manhole cover for example. The best line for avoiding the manhole might make you have to go through the bend slower. The only consistent answer is do what you like so long as you don't crash!

Mine is totally illegible. No semblance of any actual letters in there at all. But it's quick to do so when having to do lots of signatures (like every page of a document) it's really good.

Take a look in Halfords Cycling section. They do some good value, supposedly waterproof rucksacks. If it's just for a few items, they would be fine. Long distance with a loaded up rucksack leaning forward on a sports bike makes you feel like your spine has been bent in half, so avoid heavy rucksacks for long distance!

I sold a chunk close to the too, held onto a chunk. Took profit and the cash I still have invested is still in profit. Took a bit of a hit on litecoin, but still invested so as it creeps back up I'll break even again soon. It's certainly a turbulent market, but where there's movement theres profit!
